I needed this to use with my husband's dremel for my nail filing bits. They work as expected and hold the bits firmly.

I used my milwaukee dremel to take all the grout of my 4"x4" shower. LOTS of work, dusty, safety glassed, masked and ghost white dusty work all over your body. Took me about four days, using 1/16" dremel bits and shifting between two milwaukee dremels. . . . . BECAUSE the cheap aluminum colletts kept melting in the dremel, and then allowing the bits to start loosening and flying across the room in a wibber wonky fashion. At one point the bit came out like a bullet, shot across my face, hit one of the tiles, making a good dent in it, before it flew across the room and luckily did not hit the mirrors! So, I ordered two sets of these BRASS colletts, aand though I only needed the 1/16" collett, I ended up with a whole batch I will probably never use, but worth the price, as I got ones that actually kept the bit going. . . until the bit bit the dust, so to speak, and had to be replaced with another.

These are great quality! They out perform the originals that came with my dremel (which is the top of the line model) well worth every penny.

The retaining nut does not fit the extended cord.
