This pillow is one of my first pillows I bought and it has hold up pretty well after all these years. Still soft and keeps bouncing back up. Its a pillow that won't break the bank and still be better then most others in my opinion.

I kinda made fun of people in the past for having an anime pillow, but after watching some videos and reading up on it a bit, i thought - "that actually sounds pretty comfortable".Little did I know that I would soon have my own pillow, and several nice pillowcases for it! Zero regrets.There's a lot of different pillows out there, some cheap, some (like this one) not-so-cheap. OR you can go the route of buying a specialty pillow from a dakimakura site. Nah.This one is great, stays firm, nice n comfy. It's a hundred bucks, which for the size and comfort it's given me seems reasonable. It feels GREAT to sleep with, curled up with, wrapped around, under my head, under my feet, whatever. I let my body tell me where it wants me to put it, and that's where it goes.Then, when it's time to cuddle with my anime honey - it's allllll good. I understand now.The weebs were right. I was a fool to judge them, and I owe them a heartfelt apology.No regrets.

I've gone through a couple of body pillows before deciding to try this one - the price was a primary consideration when I bought my first two, but I was just finding that they weren't as comfortable as I had hoped when using for an extended period of time...so I decided to try a more expensive body pillow. With that said, I've noticed an immediate difference, and am so glad I did!I did read some reviews that mentioned that they take the time to fluff up their pillow from time to time (when they change the pillowcase out, etc), so have been doing this as well - however, for all that this pillow feels extremely soft and squishy, it has also held its shape really well so far, and I notice a big difference in how it has helped with things like knee pain! Unless something dramatically changes with it with continued usage, I've finally found one that is exactly what I was hoping it would be!

The overall quality of the pillow is amazing, and makes my rough soft satin Neferpifou cover feel much more comfortable, before i got this, i was using some low quality pillows I've purchased from China off of Ebay, and this is definitely a improvement, i will say you get what you pay for, and that your money is not going to waste if you decide to get this instead of importing a pillow.The pillow is soft, and you'll sink right into it, which i like, it also has a bit of firmness, which i guess for others might be a plus too.The stuffing inside did not move around at all inside when i stuffed my cover into it, and that's something i also gotta give props for.So do i recommend this pillow? Yes, totally, but if you are willing to import, i think you could definitely get something that's a 5/5

I purchased two other body pillows on Amazon, trying to be a cheapo. Quite disappointed with those cheap pillows.I broke down and purchased one of these, and was so satisfied with it that I purchased a second one!Right out of the package the pillows look disappointing, but once you pat them on all sides for a couple of minutes they grow huge! The outside fabric is somewhat thin and stretchy. If you push on the pillow without a cover on, it feels super squishy, and honestly very strange. Almost like a very squishy dough.It is very hard to get the Dakimakura cover on the pillow, but once it is on, the pillow is different. It is very soft, but supportive. I can't really describe how they feel, but they are amazingly comfortable!After using them nightly for almost two months there's no permanent dents or wear. I remove the covers for a gentle washing once a week, and while they are drying I give the pillows a fluff and a chance to rest in their natural form. I don't know if it really helps, but it makes me feel like I'm taking good care of my expensive sleep friends.

UPDATE: I purchased the inner pillow from Dakimakuri and have found that even with the price being greater than that of this COMODO pillow, I prefer the Dakimakuri inner. Dakimakuri pillows have a much nicer combination of firm and fluffy when compared to that of COMODO. (E.G., 50% Firm and 50% Fluffy on Dakimakuri vs 80% Firm and 20% Fluffy on this COMODO) This is still a good choice if it's your first time purchasing a body pillow, you're cautious of price, or you want the instant gratification of receiving your pillow in just two days through amazon prime. However, I still wholly appreciate and prefer the Dakimakuri pillow because it not only fluffs up nicely against me when I hug it, but also allows me to sink into the fabric and stuffing when I lay on top of it, and these are the two positions I find myself always falling asleep in. I highly recommend the Dakimakuri body pillow more if you're willing to pay the difference in cost and don't mind waiting a while for it to arrive.I really like how this pillow can be purchased for only a fraction of the price of other high-end body pillows crafted in Japan. Some of them can get to be over $100 for the cost of shipping alone, so this is great. This pillow fluffs up and expands really well if you pull it out of packaging when you get it and give it a few punches evenly along every side. The dimensions are a good and genuine 150x50cm, and it'll fit any body pillow cover of that size. Another huge positive of this pillow is that it ships from California, so if you live in the U.S. and have Amazon Prime, then you'll get this in just two days compared to the normal month that you'd have to wait if ordering straight from Japan. It's nice and firm so I can hug it when sleeping, put it by my back when laying on my side, or put my neck on it while reading to maintain good posture. All around great pillow. I can recommend it.
