Mine was in an open box that looked like somebody bought it just to remove the wrench and then returned it as this wrench is not sold separately. I charged the fully discharged batteries then it would not start, turned out you have to hold the switch for at least 1 second. Then "+" decreased the speed and "-" increased it but at other times they would work properly if you can find the hot spot on the switch which often shuts down the machine several times because the on/off button would be touched.The backing pad has Velcro surface which makes it very difficult to install the microfiber cloths as they keep sticking to the velcro and even if you manage to put them on, after a few spins they go under the backing plate and wont turn, just vibrate in place. so they're just throw aways by the seller. They must have velcro backing themselves or completely useless if used with the rubber band.So I'm returning this one and getting one with flip switch for on/off and wheel-type speed control.I also had a hard time finding the charging port on the batteries until I checked every screw hole with flashlight.

I love to polish and wax my vehicles but it is just too much for my wrists and shoulders. With the help of this cordless polisher, I once again enjoy the work. It is light and easy to use. The battery is common to my other tools, which is. plus.

It's tough to give this items a rating that distinguishes this product from the many others that have suddenly appeared that look exactly like it. I like that it is rechargeable. The batteries look like they could fit your name brand battery-operated tools, but they aren't interchangeable. I think this would be suitable for DIY users and small projects. However, if you're looking to do a multi-stage detailing job on your cars or use this in a business, I don't think this product would compare to name brand tools on the market.First, this product doesn't have the weight to it that the larger items do, so you'll have to apply more hand pressure versus allow the tool to work under its own weight. Second, the battery life will never compare to a larger battery platform that either provides more power or allows you to purchase additional batteries than the two that come with this product. Third, there are plug-in options that provide even more flexibility and longer time of use.Overall, I would recommend this item as your first purchase, likely as part of a plan to upgrade as your skill and commitment to the process increases.

This works well, comes with some nice accessories. I can use it for around 25 minutes before the battery is toast. It's certainly not the end of the world. But could be improved

I was honestly expecting something that wouldn't spin consistently and would not spin fast enough for specific jobs. It does far above expectations and the charge lasts long enough, as well as charges fast enough, to do a good portion of a detail job in one sitting. You won't get a whole car done, but at least the hood and front all at once.The kit is well made and has all you need for some basic work. I really like what this kit has to offer and for new people to detailing this will last you years easily.

I'm pleased with this car polisher, which comes with an impressive selection of accessories. I bought the cordless model (blue) - Comes with a ton of stuff: gloves, apron, buffer attachments, sanding pads, 2 batteries and a carrying bag. Tool works great - has 8 speed settings, plenty of speed and force to get the job done, be it polishing or sanding. Some other reviews complained of noise; even at it's fastest I didn't think the volume of the tool was bad at all, just a hum. Motor runs smoothly and I felt little vibration through the handle as I used it. This thing is pretty amazing for the price!
