I used to have acreage and my hedger was very powerful. But then again I had a lot of hedges to trim but I lost that house in a fire and now I live in a small house and have very few plants to trim. This is surprisingly good for a very cheap hedger! If you only have 15, 16 plants that need to be trimmed. This is a fantastic budget alternative. I'm surprised how long this has lasted me and I'm also surprised how long the battery lasts. I wasn't expecting much at this price. Is it as nice as my Stihl? No... But for the limited amount of bushes, I now do it's fantastic for the money. I'm actually impressed. I thought it would be junk LOL

Using it to clear a mile trail through blackberry bushes and scotch broom. It cuts down most everything. Run it until the large 4ah battery runs out and then but a 2 am battery. When they both run out it is the end of my work day.Never any problems. If anything went wrong I would buy another one that day no questions asked.Performs perfectly

Can cut over 10 big shrubs and more on one charge. Worth the money and also not having to stress and pull cords all over the yard!

Out of the box it felt like some cheap plastic thing but, anymore, what doesn't? I've used it a few times and found it's comfortable to use and worked well for my light to medium duty jobs. It cuts through larger branches with ease. The battery life is better than expected. I would definitely recommend this.

Works well. Battery does not take long to charge, about 1 to 1.5 hours. Not easy to use as it is heavy and it takes strength to push the on button to operate. With practice this gets better. Also, I take it as a positive. If it was easy to push the on button to operate, it can go off accidentally and one can easily injury self.

Works great and was about $25.00 cheaper than anything else I could find at Lowe’s, Home Depot, or Harbor Freight. Plus it came with a 4.0 AH battery, while the other brands I looked at only came with a 1.5 AH or 2.0 AH battery, which gives you double the battery life so you can get the job done without the worry of your battery dying on you half way through the job. Plenty big enough for about any size shrubs or hedges, easy to use , and adjustable to angle the blades to where you need them. Maybe a little heavy with the bigger battery, but that was my preference as I wanted longer power and longer battery life. I highly recommend this brand if you’re looking for something that works great but doesn’t bankrupt you.

I like the way this cuts. I didn’t realize it would be so heavy though. However, although very fit I am 89 years old. I used it yesterday to trim back several bushes and it did a good job. I got it because I had been using a slightly smaller one that I had to plug in, and didn’t want to deal with a long cord. The length of the blade ( which I like) and the weight of the battery (not bad) make it a little heavier than I’d like but for someone larger than me (l weigh only 115 lbs) the weight probably is no problem.
