The top was way over belt sanded.The grain orientation is incorrect on the handle.The head is a bit too thin.The weight is great and the handle fit feel and shape are amazing.

The eye on this is countersunk so the handle expands flush with the top of the eye. This is done so you can strike a door or stand it on it's head.

Fit and finish was awful; they shimmed inside the eye to for "proper" fit. Left hammer marring all over the axe. I didn't even look at the bit I was so disappointed... the fact that someone would send this out as "finished" product is appalling; and nonetheless from council tools via wismen trading!! Extremely disappointed.
