This is a decent cotton candy machine if you have realistic expectations. It will not be making cone after cone or bag full of cotton candy like you see at the fair, etc. It makes small batches. You will need to purchase the floss sugar for it beforehand. We did try regular granulated sugar and the taste isn’t as good as the flavored sugar. My daughter didn’t like that some parts of the cotton candy were crunchy and I think this is due to heat which can’t be adjusted. I felt like the machine was easy to clean but some of the cotton candy did adhere to a part that I didn’t think should really have cotton candy on it. The suction cups on the bottom did not acheer to my quartz countertop. To solve this problem (because the machine will move all over when on), I put an hot pad under the machine and this solved the problem. Overall, I am happy with the cotton candy machine.

Much bigger than I thought. Got this as a birthday gift. It comes with everything you need to get the hang of everything. The paper cones can be purchased separately if you want to refill them. It only needs regular granulated sugar but if you want to have different colors those cotton candy sugars can be purchased elsewhere as well. It went together easy enough. You'll want to supervise because the sugar will get hot. This would be a fun activity for a party.

Easy to use! Just plug it in, wait for it to warm up, and pour in your sugar. Catch the cotton candy on the cones provided and then enjoy. It did create crunchy sugar crystals, though, and there was a ton of unspun sugar in the bowl when it was done. I'm not sure if this is due to user error or the machine. But after you pour in the sugar, the machine does all the work, so I think it's likely the machine. While you do need to clean the parts after using, it's best to wait a little bit before you take out the inner part that spins, as it is HOT after using. Don't submerge the motor, though. You have to use a wet cloth to clean that off. It's a fun novelty to have available in the house.

What a fun an unusual toy! You get the spinner, a measuring scoop, and 8 paper cones. You can purchase a $5 accessory pack that has three flavored sugars and three cones. There is an excellent video of the unit in action, plus how to clean it. Just scan the QR code in one of the product photos. It’s well made with flexible plastic components that won’t break. The instructions were very good. It takes about two minutes to warm up and about 90 seconds to make a ball 6 inches in diameter. Disassembly and cleaning are very easy but wait until the spinner has cooled off. You may need a small brush to clean caramelized sugar from inside the spinner. Note that you don’t have to be a kid to use this; you can make cotton candy to decorate desserts or as toppings for puddings or ice cream.

It was so much fun today to create cotton candy with my daughter. The device to make cotton candy came assembled. I reviewed the instruction prior to washing it once reassembled and we created plain white and pink cotton candies.Because the machine is not commercial the size of cotton candies were perfect for one time serving for kids. The cotton candy that is shown in the picture is made out of 1 teaspoon of plain sugar.I added pink edible food color for the pink cotton candy. The kit comes with few cones, but I used a wooden Chopstick which will be a reusable thing in future for me.Cleaning was easy as well. The plastic containers are separated, following the arrows as written in instruction. Once disassembled you can use soap and water for the part that heats the sugar turned a little brown. Therefore, I used warm water and used a toothbrush to clean that part, the whole process took less than 2 to 3 minutes for cleaning so I would not mind doing this over again another day.The device is not so big so storage would not be a problem. My daughter is six year old so I helped her as it requires heat and electricity but for someone who 8 and above, I think once assembled and done once or twice with supervision, they can do it by themselves so would makes a good gift.

Remarkably easy to use. Plug in, add sugar, and poof.. cotton candy. Takes just a little practice to gather it properly. I'm already out of the paper cones and would like to try different colored sugar, so will have to spend a few more bucks sooner rather than later, but it's a treat for birthdays and other parties, so it's minimal and fine. It's a little harder to clean than I'd like but again.. it's an occasional treat so it's fine. Great for the price.
