The die, SN58B, for the 22AWG (20-22) wire crimping is a bit off if you are expecting a single step process. However, if you use a 2 step process where you use the (20 - 18) first (slow and deliberate) and then complete it in the (20 - 22), the crimp really comes out nicely.I also really like the quick die change capability instead of screwing in the Dies.Use:Process 11) Open the jaws of the cripper and look for the step in the die (20 - 17)2) Place the connector Pin or Socket in the die so that the longer crimp legs are resting against the step3) Partially close the climper just enough to insert the wire. (The crimper ratchets so it will stay in position if you let go.4) Place the stripped wire end in the crimper until the isulation hits the second (shorter) crimping legs.5) Slowly complete the crimp and you will see that the crimp is properly formedProcess 26) Re-insert the crimpted Pin (or Socket) into the (20 - 22) die teeth.7) Check to be sure that the Pin (or Socket) is properly and Complete the crimp to the first click or release. (do not do it hard)8) Carefully remove the crimped Pin (or Socket) and you will see it looks and functions great. The pics are in the order of the steps.Have fun ....

This was really easy to use!I primarily got this to repair some light gauge cables that broke in the last storm to a remote camera in my Nest system.I easily put one of the connectors on the wire break and crimped that down. Back to working camera! There's not much more to say about this except that the metal is fairly light, but it's construction is such that it doesn't really matter. The compression force won't bend the tool, and I can't imagine it would get any wear from crimping connectors. It's a good value! This item is a RECOMMEND!

I bought these after selling my “Blue Point “ crimper set. I had sellers remorse and was going to buy another set until I saw how much the price had jumped. So I purchased this set. After receiving them and trying them out they are just as good or better. And comes with wire strippers that the blue point did not have. Has a crimping jaw for pretty much any of us.

The set is very good quality. I was able to make very good crimps on my first attempt. The jaw sets are easy to read. I really like the quick change jaws. The wire strippers work well and or a welcome addition.

The die cuts are super small, the strippers will not grab wire. The crimpers hang no matter what you try to crimp. Returned these with wire jacket stuck. Wouldn’t even come out !! These should not be part of your tools !! Choose another brand. For this price I expected a huge upgrade !! Wrong. These aren’t worth a fourth of what they are sold for !!

Well built sturdy, I like these because instead of carrying a whole bunch of different types of crimpers because I use the ferrules I use smaller loads I use regular clips this way I only need one pack, easy change for different types seem like a great set.Two thumbs up recommended
