Die Set Configurations
15 Amp Cavity: For 16, 18 and 20 gauge wire.
30 Amp Cavity: For 12, 14 gauge wire.
45 Amp Cavity: For 10 gauge wire.
The contact size corresponds to the position marking on the die. The 15 amp contact goes into the 15 amp position, the 30 amp into the 30 position, and 45 amp into the 45 position.

Got this crimper cause I got tired of rigging the connectors on the back of my mobile radios. These are exactly what you need to properly crimp 15/30/40 Anderson connectors.There is a receptacle that holds the lugs in place so it doesn't fall out or requiring you to hold it in place. Did a few test crimp and they work great! For the price, I definitely think it's worth having the right tool for the job. No issues with this crimper and definitely recommend this.

These crimpers do a great job with power pole connectors, while saving you plenty of money over other models. It feels like a quality tool, on par with a friend of mine that has the more expensive one from Powewerx. I think it will serve the hobbyist for a long time. If you have to crimp these kind of connectors multiply times a day everyday, maybe buy one from a big name brand.

These are quick and easy to use for any size wire you'd be using for up to a 30 amp connection. I have a friend who refuses to buy any and just smashes the connectors down with a pair of pliers, and maybe it works fine, but it looks like it was done by a neanderthal. These crimp the wire in securely, and I don't feel the need to add to it with solder or anything. I am certain that once the wire has been put into the connector and crimped properly, it will not come out or loosen. Plus, it looks neat and tidy!From that point of view alone I'm happy with them. Anderson style 'power pole' connectors have become the de rigueur standard for amateur radio folks, and I've also really grown to like them for easy assembly and ease of use. These crimpers are a must have, even if you only do a few a year.

I assembled 4 sets of Anderson Power Pole connectors using the iCrimp crimping tool with great success.I assembled two sets using 12ga wire and two sets using 10ga wire, both wire sizes crimped very nicely and inserted smoothly into the power pole bodies.I was very pleased with the construction and quality of this tool!Hopefully this tool will provide a long service life for my power pole needs.I love the square crimp, it makes it much easier to insert the connector into the body.For the price, this tool will be hard to beat!So far this tool has earned an honored spot in my tool arsenal...

Just maybe, if you have a business where you install equipment such as car stereos and use Anerdon Powerpole connectors daily, you *might* want a more expensive crimper. But most ofus will never install more than a few dozen Powerpole pairs in our lifetimes. I certainly expect my crimper to outlast me. It's solidly built with great precision. It works well. Hey, it even looks good ... well, good for a Powerpole crimper, anyway.As for Anderson Powerpoles themselves, they are fast becoming the standard for 12-volt DC connections in Amateur Radio, RVs, boats and other uses where solid, dependable electrical connections are essential. Don't buy off-brand "powerpoles" parts, and don't use crimpers that aren't made for this very specific purpose.

This is a sturdy tool that works great. I gave it 4 stars only because it has no instruction on its use. I had no experience with this type of crimping tool and wasted material and found myself very frustrated. For those like me, I urge you to look at the lower jaw of the pliers. You will see the lower jaw has "valleys" that mesh with the "hills" on top. Place the connector on top of the "hill," not the "valley" and push it in until it comes to a stop in the block at the back of the jaw. At that point squeeze the handle. You will find a very good crimp.

Scrivo poche recensioni ma quest'oggetto lo merita: mi ha permesso di fare con rapidità delle ottime crimpature, cosa che con una precedente pinza non ero assolutamente riuscito a fare (se non dopo aver buttato via un bel po' di connettori, provato e riprovato).Con questa è filato tutto bene sin da subito.Se avete dubbi sul come procedere, guardate su youtube: è pieno di tutorial che mostrano come usarla.
