This device made it much more straightforward to crimp Ethernet cables than doing it by hand one wire at a time. I am confident that I can rewire much more than just one or two cables if I need to do a larger project.

It seemed like a good value, works well for the money and it’s built well and easy to use. The connector quality is the best part of the kit. They are pass through connectors.Con’s. After I did 2 connectors the tool itself wasn’t cutting or crimping very well. Glad I didn’t throw my old one away which is basically a crimper but it is bigger and gives you more leverage to squeeze those pins down. This is just my opinion from what I’ve seen with this tool.

The kit comes with everything you need (well, almost everything). However, they don't tell you that you need a 9-volt battery for the tester. I made up a cable and went to test it, and low and behold, the tester didn't work. I looked inside, and there was No Battery. You would think that for $25.00, they would include a battery. So now I have to drop everything I'm in the middle of doing with the kit just to get a battery.
