Product Description

IWISS Combo Angle Head Pex Pipe Plumbing Crimping Tool for Copper Crimp Jaw Sets 1/2" & 3/4"

IWS-1234W Copper Ring Crimp Tool, Angled & Dual Head PEX Crimp Tool

IWS-1234W PEX Crimp Dual Tool allows you to make a secure connection to 1/2 in. and 3/4 in. PEX with copper crimp rings. The tool crimps the two most popular sizes with one-tool and no interchangeable dies. The tool also includes a Go/No-Go Gauge for gauging crimps. The tool is factory calibrated and all crimps conform to the ASTM F1807 standard.

Quick Guide

  1. With the pipe, fitting, and crimp ring in assembly position: Pull back on the upper, moving handle and hold both handles closed with jaws in full open position.
  2. Position jaws around the crimp ring. Gently release hand pressure on the moving handle to let the jaws close properly and squarely over the crimp ring.
  3. Firmly press the handles together to complete the crimp. DO NOT CRIMP TWICE.
  4. Pull back on the moving handle to release the tool from the crimp ring.

Works well, but it will give your forearms and exercise. If you don’t mind that it’s worth the price.

Been working well out of the box for over a month now. I've made hundreds of crimps with no leaks. Getting to 3/4s in tight spaces can be a little annoying. Handles are stiff.

Okay.... I have used (4) different crimping tools - and returned them all, and BY FAR this is the easiest one to use, AND the most woman friendly. I am strong, but PEX tools in general are not designed for women to use.... This one is. thanks and Well Done! Great bang for your buck... and to date, all crimps have been good!

This tool worked wonderfully. I had a very small opening in a bathroom vanity that the normal crippers were to big to get the correct angle to crimp the pex rings. This new angle tool worked quickly and easily. I highly recommend. I plan to use this tool a long time.

These work fabulous for crimping pex as I ran lines for water in my basement. They have lasted many years now!! Good purchase.have not had any leaks, easy to adjust as necessary. Grip is great and another good price point.

Just started to use Pex and found this crimper for 1/2 and 3/4 inch Pex. Works great! Will hopefully never have to solder copper again. It does make perfect crimps and the angle unit is what I prefer. It does take a moderate effort but gives a little towards completion. One hand crimps will be doable for some but I needed a little assist on few. Anyway, great unit. Highly recommend!

I bought this to work on a plumbing update where I am removing all the galvanized and replacing with PEX. I got a Viega Manabloc as part of the project as well. Let me start off with the good, the cutter is sharp and true for cutting both 1/2" & 3/4" PEX. The crimper makes excellent crimps I have not had a problem with a single crimp I made that was properly placed. Getting a bunch of free crimps too was nice. Now let me go to the negatives. First of all if I was buying again I would have opted for Two crimpers, one for 1/2" & another for 3/4" mainly because in my case some of the places I had to crimp were a bit tight and having the extra large head to accommodate two sizes does not help the matter. I also think a single crimper might have worked better from the standpoint of being more of a one handed operation. When you open the crimper the head does not open wide enough to clear the pipe, I physically must use my second hand to open the jaws of the crimper to provide enough clearance to put the crimper over the pipe and the crimp. Maybe there is an adjustment on the crimper tool for this but it is not apparent and documentation is lacking.Speaking of crimps it could easily be bumped out of the correct position as the head of the crimper is so large; my solution to this was very simple as I took a bit of cellophane tape and wrapped it around the pipe and crimp so it stayed in the correct location. I could then move (using both hands) the crimper on top of the crimp in the correct position. As I mentioned earlier I have not had a bad crimp since I started using this method.
