1999 Wrangler Sahara TJ. Installed a Transfer case drop kit and this cause all heck with the shifting. Going in to 2nd it hit the original bezel and broke the corner off. I installed a Rough Country Extended Lower Gear Selector and that helped marginally. The original thick rubber boot as you know its not very forgiving, and regarless of how much it would pull on the bezel going in to 1st ,it held it in place. I am getting a redline leather shifter boot instead, and it works with this bezel! Great purchase and love it when aftermarket lives up to the OEM quality we TJ owners hope for.**Update**Finally took the 99 Sahara out for a spin. Drove it about a total of 1hr since i installed this and noticed the front coming up. I kept trying to get it to click in to place. I removed it, and inspected it, the front tabs broke off. I am in the process now if using super glue to make a fix.I removed all but the 1 required star... there is no excessive stress on the boot, i upgraded to a redline shift boot too!!

Mine broke a couple years ago and I just never replaced it. Better quality then OEM and fits perfect on my TJ

I have a 2001 Jeep Wrangler TJ and the boot fit on just right and the bezel just clipped right in where its supposed to be. My old one had apparently been broken and glued back together before I purchased my Jeep and it shattered the other day when my shifter was being stubborn due to my clutch about to go out. Anyway, Great product quick easy and super simple fix.

The product is exactly what it said. Worked perfectly. It actually fit better than the original, the boot stayed in place with no hassle.
