The rod looks a little plastic-y, but is a fairly nice gold. Unfortunately, I bought two of these for new construction, and the curved shape will not work with the height of the shower pan, but it is over 30 days so I can't return them. This has been a problem I did not anticipate. I would not recommend buying items on Amazon for use in a new build construction. Too often, the contractor or subcontractor does not get around to installing things when they think they will. Then, when it turns out that an item is unsuitable, broken, wrong color, etc., it is impossible to return as Amazon has a strict 30-day policy. We were lucky that we didn't have any super-expensive purchases that this happened on. We only lost about $250.00 in this way. Lesson learned, but too late for us--we don't plan to ever build another house--have to carry us feet first out of this one!

Rod was easy to install. We like the extra room it gives when showering. Directions are very good. Has held up well.

This absolutely TRANSFORMED my bathroom.Shower stall only so I was nervous about water seepage. But the builders grade tile was not jiving with the bright gold vibe I was going for, so I needed to find a cost effective way to cover it up. And this was the trick!I could not be happier. It looks INCREDIBLE, my shower suddenly feels huge, and it gave the entire bathroom a “regal” feel.For anyone curious, I got (2) 95” curtain panels (who says you can’t use normal curtains for your shower?) and a 96” fabric shower liner. I used curtain rings and a double row of hooks to create this grand floor to ceiling shower look. ✨

Receive the shower curtain packaging was fantastic instructions to super easy to understand and a few problems contacted the company. I am really responded helped that’s what you need. Great customer service.

The bad: I would have given this a 5 start review but the anchors were so cheap, the bar was wiggly and flopping downward. I had to completely uninstall and use some nylon ribbed drywall anchors I had on hand.The good: instructions were easy to read and legible. Size is nice, performance is good so far. In the end, it is doing what I wanted it to do, which is round out the upper portion of the shower curtain. Gives a nice, modern look.

We moved into a place that has a tiny bathroom, the entire bathroom is basically a closet. I'm not sure if the tub is smaller then normal or what but the shower curtain would always touch your body as you showered and it was super uncomfortable.This curved rod changed our life. It added a good 6-9 inches of air space between us and the shower curtain, we can actually move our arms without the cold wet curtain touching our skin. I wish I could put into words how mutch this shower rod made a difference.It took about 3min to install ( if you have power tools and aren't a muppet, I shouldn't have to say this but some people will just screw into drywall without using actual drywall anchors then wonder why their rod falls down 3 days later.)Rod length is easily adjustable by hand and it comes with extra screws in case you are blind and lose parts.One warning in the diagram it showed the screws as horizontal on step 1, obviously they need to be vertical, wanted to point that out in case ypu are one of those people that follows directions without figuring them out first.BUY THIS if your shower space is small, trust me.
