I've been dealing with arch pain on and off for years. I've tried different inserts and insoles, but they only helped a little. I was looking at more insoles in Target, when an employee recommended these. She checked to see if Target carried them, but they didn't but she still recommended them.I have to say these have really helped. The first couple of times I wore them, they really hurt my feet. However, as they broke in, I noticed the arch pain subsiding. I like that they cushion your arch but still allow it to stretch. The only question I have right now is durability but they seem to holding up fine for the two weeks I've worn them.I highly recommend these to anyone with painful arches.

These are nice. There is something there to support your arches.

Do not even bother with the cheaper versions, they're not worth it. I have not seen this version in stores. These ones are made to last far longer than their cheaper counterparts and can survive being put in the washing machine with regular laundry. I don't know what the cheaper versions are made of but they're basically worthless as anything other than a trial pair to see if this style suits your needs. These fit roughly he same as their cheaper counterparts but last longer. I was crippled by a surgeon as a teenager from repeated insistence on one surgery after another to over correct for a problem that had already been solved. I have found it difficult to walk without some kind of support and these have made it easier to walk even without shoes. I highly recommend trying these.

I bought this product because I am pregnant for the first time and wanted extra arch support to hopefully stop my foot from lengthening in my third trimester (this is just a theory I have. I was trying to find information about this online but couldn't). I can't say if this really works for that because I have hardly worn them. They slide slightly on your feet so that they feel uneven and you are aware that you are wearing them, although they never felt too uncomfortable. The quality of the materials feels cheep. The cushioning seems too thin and the blue part is made of a rough felt that apparently is not rough enough to hold it in place with friction. Also, this product appeared to be repackaged. It was in a paper box instead of plastic as pictured, and the instructions looked like they had been cut out by hand by a 5-year-old, with ragged edges all around. I suspect that my product may have been returned by a previously unsatisfied customer and then repackaged for me.

These are amazing. I'm a pain in the ass to travel with because my feet get so achy very quickly and I want to sit down all the time. I knew I'd be walking a great deal with friends in London, so I thought I'd give these a try in the boots and sneakers I'd be wearing. I'm a women's size 8, and the elastic was strong enough to have a compression effect on my feet as well. The first day I didn't quite position them correctly so they were a little uncomfortable, but there was no foot pain and no chafing. After that I learned where they fit most comfortably, and I never had foot pain or swollen feet. One day I rushed out without putting them on, and the old foot pain started immediately, which just served to show me how well they'd been working. I just ordered a second pair, so that I always have a pair to wear with everything I have that has no or substandard arch support.

I ordered these along with the Sole Angel (although, despite what amazon leads you to believe, they come from 2 different sources: Heart of the South only carries the Sole Angel while the Pro can only come from Strutz--but despite confusion, all works out since Heart of the South is very honest and patient about confusion & refund and the Strutz company automatically sends the order anyway--so, if you order thru amazon, be prepared to just let it all sort out; do nothing extra despite some confusion! Service is still excellent).I was glad I got both at the same time because for me the Sole Angel (way cheaper--for good reason) was useless: band too wide and flimsy for my feet (I wear size 9!) and pad too thin to be any good, at least for MY poor crashing arches. BUT THE PRO IS PERFECT: fits well; does the job. I wear them WITH my custom orthotics in regular shoes--often only one, on my bad foot. But with slippers and sandals (which can't take orthotics) I wear both Pros all the time, usually *outside* my socks (I'm a sock person--some people aren't). The black, ridged band actually looks and feels good on bare feet under certain sandal styles too--so you won't look to dorky and "therapeutic".It's great to be able to go hiking again! This all said, I recommend experimenting with both the Sole Angel and Pro to see which works for you--both are cheap enough. Also experiment, if your feet are unevenly screwed up, with whether you need a Strutz on both feet or just one, with or without orthotics. After walking around a bit, if one feels uncomfortable, the Sole Angel or Pro is small enough to take off and put in your pocket or purse so you can painlessly get thru your experimental walk, etc.I'm planning on ordering another pair of Pros from Strutz.

The elastic on these arch supports is one size fits all. I wear a women's size 8. They are a little loose so I may have to sew a tuck or something. If i put them over socks they are helpful without shoes. They also work if you wear them in sandals that strap you in.Wearing them with shoes is another story. They are bulky under the arches but the area under the metatarsal is not long enough to help that part of the foot. The material inside of the arch support initially feels as though it is supporting well but then seems to compress after a few minutes while still making your shoes tight. I think I will get use from them this summer though. Already tried them with sandals.
