Was working on my wife's car over the weekend and the hood gasket was not staying in place. I figured this would be the perfect job for the Gluest double sided tape. I removed the gasket and cleaned the metal surface below it. I laid down the double side tape and adhered to the metal easily. I then cleaned the gasket, let it dry and mounted it to the double sided tape and it wasn't budging nor lifting. It's been a few days now and even after being rained on, it's holding the gasket in place. Super heavy duty stuff!

I would say its not quite as sticky, but it worked in a lightweight application. If you are going to use this for anything more heavy I would be cautious it may not hold. Also, this is the same kind of foam tape that gets dry and deteriorates. I don't love the foam tapes but I have had some good ones. This one is just so so.

This is my 'go to' tape for adhering to surfaces like the dash on my vehicle which is not very level nor smooth. The foam allows enough movement to adjust for slight surface irregularities while still holding well. I find that it does a better job in that scenario than any of the hi-end double-sided tapes I have found. Another plus is that even after a couple of years I can remove it without any damage to the underlying dash. I have had good success mounting my cell phone holder with it. Of course your holder needs to have decent base to adhere to but I haven't had it fail yet.

The adhesive is terrible. I love the size but it doesn't seem to stick to anything.

Interesting stuff - it's pretty much exactly as described, and seems to work fine so far. I was expecting it to be clear, but it's not typical nano - or alien tape, but it works well on the surfaces suggested. If you're like me and you have a supply of different tape types, duct tape for this, electrical tape for that, Frog tape for painting, etc, you should have a roll of this handy for jobs that this will work best for.

Functions as advertised. I used this to hang a couple of light weight pictures in plastic frames - not very heavy so I didn't want to ruin the wall by putting a nail through the drywall.This product did the job. The pictures were very easy to hang straight.

I ordered this so that I can use it in woodworking. You make a pattern of one piece, then attach it to a wood blank, and then use a pattern making bit in a router create an exact duplicate. I just tested this tape with two pieces of wood and it was great! Strong adhesion but I was still able to pry the pieces apart. After that, you pull on the tape horizontally and it functions just like those reusable hooks. The tape kind of compresses and pulls of of the wood without leaving any sticky residue. Very happy with this tape for my intended use!

The tape is white, spongy and about one millimeter thick,It has a good adhesion, it is easy to use and works well.I use this this tape to reinforce some set some small plastic hangers against the baseboard. I can run wires on those hangers to keep them off the flor (out of reach from the vacuum cleaner).
