These work great except the little nylon washer wears out very quicklly and you have to replace the whole unit too often. It is a quick fix though without cutting off the water supply, thank goodness.

The product looked great online. However, when it arrived it was less than what I even expected. Don't get me wrong, I did expect a subpar product since, in the picture, it does have some flakes of brass in the openings. What should have been a 5-10 minute diverter stem replacement turned into a 2-hour ordeal. I spent the majority of the time fixing the two openings at the end of the valve to get proper water flow to the showerhead and trying to stop the leak where the packing nut screws into the bonnet (the nut you are supposed to hand tighten). The best part is I now have to turn the knob very firmly to get a complete seal to avoid the water leaking out of the spout... The price and the online convenience of this product are tempting, hence why I bought it, but unless you enjoy a frustrating installation project, save yourself some time and go buy a quality product from a hardware store.

Prime product arrived as accorded. I'm loving Prime. Item is working excellent. It was replaced due to a bad seal on the previous part. It's been a week and seal is tight. No leaks.
