This worked for me, with some modifications. New house didn't have a handle on the outside faucet. Needed to use the adaptor that came with this product, it all fit snugly but the screws included didn't grip. Had to go pick up some #12 1-1/4 inch zinc screws from home depot. Fit snug and now everything is well.

I bought as a replacement handle for an out door faucet and all the pictures show this but, it has a nub that screws to the faucet and the handle fits onto a square peg to be removed.Probably good for a park or commercial property that you don't want people turning your water on and off 🤷♂️

I processed a return of this item, not because it wasn't a good product, but because the faucet it was for was messed up and needs to be replaced. Replacing just the handle/knob part wasn't going to fix the outdoor faucet.With that being said, this handle feels very solid. The part that goes over the tip of the faucet fit perfectly and the screw appeared to be the right length. The threads that the screw was intended to go into was crushed by the previous owner of the home. Thus, it was not able to be used.I would recommend this product for anyone who needs just the handle part replaced on their outdoor faucet.

This kit helped me fix my frost free sillcock that I could not identify the make or model to match parts for replacement. Mine has an odd-sized square shaft with a more pronounced taper than others seen in photos and in local hardware stores. Before ordering this Danco kit, I'd purchased two other handles, one of which had a square fitting that was too large, with the other, smaller one being too small. The adapter for this handle provided the perfect solution since it has multiple square shaped recessed fittings that enabled me to work with my seemingly odd-sized handle shaft. The bolts that came with the kit were too small, not the same threading as the 3/8 x 24 threading I needed, so I needed to use my drill press to make the hole larger on this handle which worked perfectly. This handle is quite stout and will undoubtedly last a long time. The adapter fitting and overall finish of this handle are top-notch, not to mention comfortable in the hand when turning on and off. I'm very happy with this purchase and highly recommend this kit if you think it will fit your needs.

This was super easy to install as a relatively clueless DIY'er. I installed on my 1970's era spigot that was missing the handle with no issues. There are multiple different configurations that you can put it in to fit whatever shape your spigot may be.I feel it's important to note that this item (the handle as well as the fittings) is entirely solid cast metal and seems super durable. Other reviews complaining of plastic and poor quality are clearly photos that are not this item at all, they are pictures of a spigot itself and not a handle.Edit, One Year Later: After a little over a year with almost daily use, this is still in perfect shape. Happy to have found a good product that was built to last.

Installation took less than 2 minutes. Very sturdy and would look good on any house. Check prices because when I purchased, a pack of 2 was cheaper than a single.
