This product did not work. When I snipped the end of the tube the caulk would not come out. It came out of the opposite end of the tube.

Ordered two of these - both came with defective caps. Had to throw out so no great savings here. Will buy these off the shelf from our local Home Depot in the future.

Received 29 June 2013, date of manufacture was April, 2012. Manufacturer states 18 month shelf life, so if you're buying, make sure you plan to use it pretty soon. It didn't seem to flow quite as well as other caulks I've used recently, probably because it's silicone, and I 've been using mostly latex of late, rather than because it's too old.

Silicone is very hard to remove if you want to replace it. I suggest latex unless you want this to go around a shower.
