Take the length of the thread and peel off the outer skin.

Insert according to the serial number and tighten the screws.

These DB9 breakout connectors are great!I am using them to make equipment specific serial cables that need the shield.They are easy enough to wire up and seal. I can definitely recommend them!

Takes the hassle out of making serial cables, produces such a neat finish, without the need to mess around with solder. Would 100% recommend these to anyone who occasionally needs to make up a serial cable.
