  • Powered by 4 AA Batteries: There is a 4 AA batteries slot inside the kit. Just unscrew the batteries slot cover and install the 4 x1.5V batteries (Batteries are not included) and the kit will run after you set up the timer. The screw of the batteries slot can be unscrewed by hand so it will be easy for you to change the batteries even when you are outdoors.
  • Adjust the Arms and Mount: The mounting arms can adjust from in to in. Adjust the length of the mounting arms according to the bottom size of the feed bucket. Mount it right under the fed drop hole so the fed will drop on the spinner plate.
  • Connect to 6V Solar Panel: There is a solar panel quick connect port on the bottom of the feeder kit. Remove the silicone cover and you can connect the feeder kit with the 6v solar panel to extend the using time of the feeder.(not included) Please be aware that the solar panel is a direct power source to the kit and does not charge the batteries that are installed inside the kit.
  • Wide Application: This feeder timer kit is handy which can also be used as a chicken feeder. The kit works slience and will not affect your chicks approach and feeding. It fits into almost any feeding container and can also be used for feeding fish, ducks, birds, etc

The construction and quality is good/well manufactured. Digital timer is easy to set and motor is strong enough to through feed where you want it. Only draw back is it's charged by 4AA bats.

Bought for my hubby's feeder and was a perfect fit. He's retro fitting an older feeder that he fabricated and it fit exactly as needed. He was able to set it up with the battery pack and solar panel and was operating instantly. Great price and great product.

The motor worked fine to replace one the hogs tore off. The base included didn't match up but we were able to attach to the one we had.

We adopted a deer on our small farm and this was purchased so we could have a scheduled feeding for that deer. Turns out that it also works to help feed goats, our ducks love it and now our chickens have decided to flock over to it. I am not getting ready to purchase a few more of these because our animals seem to like it. They have also figured out the timing of this because a few minutes before its set to go off, they tend to start all walking nearby and once it goes off, there's a feeding frenzy almost. We currently have this setup near our chickens and ducks area so none of the bigger animals can get to it and this has been working out great for them. Was really easy to setup and our animals love it. Buying more because this thing is amazing.

Really good feeder! Easy to set up and I put it on a 5 gallon bucket and it works great! Powered by 4AA batteries and I also hook it up to a 6V solar panel so it will last a long time. So amazing and I also really love the powerful digital timer.
