This is supposed to work with the Wildgame 225 Lb feeder. It doesn’t. I’ve gotten the run around from Moultrie Support for almost a month now. In the meantime they have no problem charging my credit card the monthly fee. Great idea but I think the rush to market was a big mistake.

I bough this so I could slowly move the feed times a few minutes at a time to adjust with the shorter days of late summer/fall without having to physically go to the feeder. It only has the ability to be set at :00, :15, :30, :45 minute marks of an hour. None of the ads say anything about this. The motor battery gauge changes drastically with every feed. The feed level indicator never reads correct. The on demand feed does work but it does take a minimum of 1min to go off, sometimes several minutes.I will probably cancel the subscription and put the old motor back on because of the feed times issues unless they change it. I’m still waiting to hear back from customer service. The rest of the issues I can deal with.

It will NOT let me update feed times or add feed times. It will also not feed on demand like the app says. All is shows is battery life and amount of feed left. I don’t even know if it will work with the scheduled feed time. The app need more work! I purchased this feeder not knowing you have to pay $7 per month to make the feeder work. Not worth the money or addiction on the app.

I gave this product a try since my feeder is a fair distance away from my home. After purchasing the feed hub and the subscription, I have had nothing but frustration. I have given it 2 weeks of trial and error. The "feed now" function has never worked a single time. The feed level remaining has shown 100% the whole time despite using a full 50 lb bag of corn over 2 weeks. The remaining battery life feature has been very sporadic with daily fluctuations between 90% and 50%. It does activate the feeder at the preset times most of the time. Overall, this subscription provides me with no more information or remote functions compared to a traditional timer. Very disappointed.

I bought the feeder with the hub already attached and if you purchase it this way you can’t make it go off if you don’t pay $9 per month. There is no manual timer and you can only operate with the app. So, if you don’t have cell service where to feeder sits, it may not work at all. Needless to say I took it back and got another brand that will work without paying a monthly fee. I just spent $200 on the feeder…. Come on man

I prettymuch got this for the feed on demand feature, which I’ve yet to see actually work. The feeder will spin if you hit the test button on the device or at a set feed time, but triggering from the app does nothing. Yes I followed setup instructions and all the lights are on, app shows that it’s connected to the device.Reading some of the fine print that’s now out, it can take up to 10 mins for the feeder to spin from the app. I wouldn’t have bought it in the first place had I known that, as I was hoping I could use this to run a hog trap gate, but it won’t even work for its advertised purpose let alone as a gate trigger.I’m giving it two stars since it does seem to at least let you know the state of charge on your feeder battery and I’ll keep it for that. Jury is still out on the fill level feature, manual that comes with it says that it doesn’t work on gravity feeders, implying that it doesn’t actually measure anything just keeps up with how many times it’s spun and counts down, but it’s got a sensor in it so who knows.Overall this thing is a good idea but overpromised and underdelivered. I’ll update the review if they push out a firmware upgrade that makes it do what it says it should.

I have a couple older Moultrie feeders I installed the feed hub on and works great for my needs. I wanted to be able to see the feeders level to reduce traffic in my spots. I already use Moultrie Edge trail cams and didn't think the extra 4 or 5 dollars a month to add the feeders was bad. Most hunters spend way more than this on less.
