After reading the reviews I was concerned that this drill took special bits and not the SDS bits I was expecting. I was relieved to find that it does take normal sds bits. NOT Regular drill bits.So, as long as you have sds bits, this drill is super powerful. I drilled 20 - 3/16 holes in concrete in about 5 minutes.

Like all cordless products the higher the amp hour battery the stronger the tool. Using a flex volt 6 ah battery I was easily able to drill a 4-3/8 core in brick. Highly impressed with the overall power, did not bog down through out the entire core drilling. Overall would recommend. As far as some of the other reviews, not sure why it wouldn't drill a 9/16 hole, dull bit? This model will definitely handle anything on that scale and much bigger

It is an sds drill bits don't go in sds bits go in it.
