If you need to limit the amount of airborne dust, this device hooked up to a vacuum will certainly help considerably.Very robust part and easy to install.

Easy to install....just 2 scews and you're done. Saw dust collected is about 75%. Could not find a fitting to use with my Rigid hose. But came up with a pvc pipe fitting,heat it up with a heat gun and it works wonderful.👍👍👍

I used this for my Dewalt Flexvolt Circular Saw and it really cuts down on the amount of sawdust that it expelled. You will not be disappointed.

It is so nice to be able to use my new cordless Dewalt saw with my Festool and have virtually no dust. It only takes one time forgetting to turn on the vacuum first before I am reminded how valuable this attachment is. Covered in dust or no dust it is simple. I highly recommend this attachment and the Dewalt Flexvolt 60V MAX Circular say.

Truthfully, I was skeptical what percentage of saw dust this would pick up. Given gravity, the speed of the cut, the placement of the dust collector, and the amount of sawdust, I figured maybe 50% would get sucked up. To my surprise the number is probably closer to 90%. Even using my DEWALT DCV581H on battery and gaffer tapping the connection I got probably 80% of the saw dust.I think I figured out that if you let the saw run just a second or so after you complete your cut will help get that last dust that may shake out of the saw.I have not attached the saw to any other vacuum than the DCV581H or the DCV012. It may be if I used a more powerful vacuum (like a ships dust collection) that it would pick up even more dust.One small logistical issue that I encountered using this saw right Andes on long cuts is that the hose comes over your arm and then behind you, if you are ripping a 10’ board you will either have to do it in a couple of setups or have a longer hose.

Does collect all the dust but it’s a great add-on for a framing saw. I only wish the US models came with it standard!
