This is the slicing knife every BBQ Pitmaster needs for large jobs. It’s razor sharp, lightweight yet study, and a 14” blade lets you cut everything that comes off the pit! I’ve used The Block knife sharpener on it and it stays like a razor. Great for large cakes and breads too! I just wish it came with a giant sheath so I can show it off around the pit.

Used to cut up brisket , great knife as long as your bark is not to heavy, big serrations grab botom of brisket and tear but with lighter bark I love this knife

This knife exceeded my expectations. My wife purchased it from my wish list which I had stored for review, but had not made up my mind. It came with two other knives that were also in my wish list. Not needing 3 of similar design, I returned the other two. This was the best deal by far. Very nice handle design, and the knife is sharp, and stays sharp.

Dexter Russell SofGrip White Handle 14-In. Wide Duo-Edge Roast Slicer - I bought the knife to carve and serve large cuts of meat such as BBQ brisket and pork shoulder. The knife's blade is 15 inches long; the handle is a good six inches long so the knife has a total length of 21 inches!! The blade itself is stiff enough to slice through the toughest meats, yet flexible enough to use on delicate proteins like fish. The handle is comfortable to hold, and is a soft grip plastic that does not get slippery when greasy, or covered with BBQ sauce. The cutting edge of this knife is 14 inches long and was very sharp right out of the box. The edge remained sharp through several uses and honed up easily. Would recommend for any cooking use. Purchased through Amazon.
