Function the same as the more popular brand but $6 cheaper. I see the price has gone up but I see other in the less than $10 price range.

Works exactly as anticipated. I do have an ancient SnapOn tool, more like a small prybar which I've used for the last five decades but on softer material like underbonnet pads, the levering effect can do damage.These pliers are just the job and a decent price. Also the arms are sprung open whic can make one handed operation easier.

Bought these to pull MANY push pins on a side by side during maintainence. First try I almost returned but then I decided to file down the jaws since they didn't seem skinny enouth to get under the lip of the inner locking pin. After filing down they work 100% better. I have even used on a new auto that has 2 push pins plus 10 screws to remove the shield for oil changes. Much easier than using my old long handled pry tool or flat blade screwdriver. They are relatively short but have decent leverage so perfect for tight areas.

I bought this because it said it would work on auto trim plugs. I installed 11 Levolor window blinds in my home that needed to be shortened. Simple just remove the slats and shorten the strings. It was shorten the strings that got me. I couldn’t pop out the plugs holding the strings into the bottom rail. I even called the company. It only got me a “we’ve had people complain about that lately.” I found this on Amazon and it worked great. One can grip it enough then push down and the plug just pops out. It’s well built and supposed to be rust proof so I’m sure I’ll find many uses for it in the future. I might even use it for a “dikes” on heavier wire in the future.

These work awesome for removing all sorts of different plastic clips you find on cars. They feel comfortable in the hand when using and the spring assist open is a bonus. If you work on cars and need to remove clips and fasteners I highly recommend this tool
