NR-HM016H is an induction hour meter that records the total hours of engine operation by induction wire winding spark plug. 3 groups of maintenance service countdown reminder function, can reset. Built-in CR2050 battery and waterproof design.Easy to manage your motorcycle, generator, lawn mower, chainsaw, air compressor and other equipment powered by gasoline engine. Pay close attention to machine status and understand machine health indicators for maintenance and service.
Hour Meter Function
- When the engine stops working, the total running time is displayed.
- The total hours max value is 99999H;Total Hours reading displays from 0 to 99999H, 0.1H accuracy;Total Hours reading displays from 10000 to 99999H, 1H accuracy.
- TOT hours are non-resettable. Automatic clearing when exceeding the maximum value.
SVC Reminder Function
- Hour meter with 3 groups of maintenance service countdown function；Respectively are “CLEAN AIR FILTER”/remind every 5 hours，“CHANGE OIL”/remind every 10 hours，“VALVE SERVICE”/remind every 20 hours.
- 3 groups of SVC reminders can reset.
- Long press the button for 5 seconds to reset.

This device fits impeccably behind the air filter box of my Honda lawn mower and attaches effortlessly to the spark plug wire. It seems almost factory-installed and is scarcely noticeable in its position. This will offer a practical means of reminding me and tracking hours needed during the mowing season.

Walk behind mowers rarely if ever have hours clock on them. This device easily attaches to your mower and clocks run time. Great for oil changes and general maintainability.

Useful little gadget for any small engines!A few interesting features, such as maintenance cycles for other stuff than oil...Easy to read, simple to install, set and forget.Only downside I find is that it has an internal battery that you can't change. Hopefully it'll outlast the engines it counts.

I need these for all my power equipment! Installation is so easy. There is adhesive already on the back of the meter, so it's just peel and stick. Of course, make sure the surface is clean and free of oil before sticking it on. There's a small wire that you wrap around the spark plug wire and secure with an included zip tie, then the other end inserts into the meter.In my case, I used it on a Champion 2500W inverter generator. I stuck the meter on the outside case and then routed the wire in through a slot that was already cut in the case. Easy peasy, took less than 5 minutes to install. This device will make is so much easier to keep track of hours on the unit so I can stay on top of the maintenance schedule. I seriously want one of these on everything (lawn mower, pressure washer, etc). I'm a big believer in preventive maintenance but without an hour meter is really hard to keep track of the actual usage, so then for me it becomes seasonal maintenance. Having this meter installed, I'm actually surprised and how fast the hours are adding up.

Easy to install by wrapping the wire a few timea around the spark plug and inserting the other end of the wire into the display unit. The unit automatically detects the spark and starts the hours count. The only concern I have is whether this unit can withstand the vibrations, but only time will tell.
