I am enjoying my Dilvoo 16 inch Watering Wand. It provides a gentle rain for my plants. The thumb shut off control is easier to use than the typical squeeze handle or turn knob, However, I noticed the aluminum nozzle was leaking. When I unscrewed it, i found the metal plate to hold the gasket in place, had completely broken off. The metal plate and gasket was inside the nozzle head! The metal plate is less than 1mm thick. In the meantime, I DIY by putting teflon plumbers tape on the threads and replaced the nozzle.Minus one star for poor construction. I hope Dilvoo corrects this problem (and sends me a new nozzle)!

This Diivoo 16 Inch Watering Wand for Garden Hose Heavy Duty is a premium watering wand. I got tired of all the cheap handheld watering nozzles. Always breaking. Always leaking. Barely spraying at times. This steps up my watering game. Very pleased with the performance so far.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ = Wow. I love it.⭐⭐⭐⭐ = Hey, this is pretty great.⭐⭐⭐ = Meh. It's okay but I don't love it. Someone might like it.⭐⭐ = Not great. Best to avoid.⭐ = Nope. This is bad.

This wand is perfectly good but its smaller size makes it more suited to condos, window sill planters or small pots. For larger gardens or pots you would probably want something longer and it wouldn't reach high hanging plants.Functionally it's good. It has a nice gentle spray pattern and the handle has a thumb lever to control the flow. They even include a standard "gardena" style quick connector. It says 1000 holes but I roughly count less than 300 (doesn't matter just interesting).

I'll start this review with a quick public service announcement as I've seen some complaints in the reviews for this item that aren't justified:The wand comes with a 1/2" quick-connect adapter if your garden hoses make use of such a system. HOWEVER, the quick-connect adapter is NOT built-in and simply unscrews. If you don't have quick connect, just remove the adapter and screw in your hose like any other hose attachment. Simple change to make but some people appear stumped by this and aren't aware that the adapter just unscrews if not needed.Regarding the product itself, it's a handy tool that does indeed make gentle watering of flower beds, potted plants and seedlings very easy. The small outlet holes are numerous and make for a very gentle stream of water at full-blast. I really appreciate this for my flower pots and younger plants as this doesn't disturb the soil or cause damage to the plants while watering yet still delivers a LOT of water quite quickly. Definitely a useful item if you're a gardener. Note from the photo that the reach of the stream is quite low. If you're in need of a wand that can reach more than a couple of feet from you or spray water farther than that, this is not likely what you're looking for. The stream on this unit doesn't travel far at all.As for the build quality, the item appears to be primarily metal (albeit the metal is very lightweight aluminum so it's relatively soft). My only concern here is the nature of the thumb-valve that controls the water flow. A handy feature for certain, this thumb-valve is unfortunately mostly, if not entirely, made of plastic. Valves do tend to be a weak point in hose attachments so a metal valve would likely make for a much more robust watering wand. Still, it's a simple product that feels like it will give years of service. I'd argue that the ~$26 price point is a bit on the high end given the product build quality but that said, heavier and more durable tools, generally made with brass, tend to be MUCH more expensive than this so that's for the consumer to decide which route they'd prefer to go.What I will say, however, is that regardless of the quality of the watering attachment, be 100% certain to drain and dry the unit well in advance of freezing weather. One cold night in the early fall has a tendency to ruin most garden hose attachments regardless of how well built they are.

This wand comes with a quick-release adapter pre-screwed into the bottom threads...by a torque wrench, apparently. I ended up having to use a pair of pliers to remove it.The handle portion is mostly plastic, leading up to a plastic top-mounted thumb trigger, an aluminum extension (that was off by ~15 degrees relative to the trigger) and a big, can-shaped nozzle that probably does have 1000 holes but I'm not counting them. The trigger is better than a spring-loaded one although compared to others I've used it's kind of squishy, like the trigger isn't mounted directly to the internal valve. The biggest issue lies with the nozzle, which simply dumps the water out the front as fast as your hose can supply it. Our water pressure is fine, and I've certainly never noticed an issue with other sprayers or pressure washers. This wand simply seems to have gone in the 'more holes!' direction that results in a dense, limp spray that flops down over a couple of feet. For potted plants it's fine, although for larger garden beds you end up having to reach in and that kind of defeats the point of using a sprayer in the first place. If you only want lots of water delivered a short distance it delivers.

Yeah okay, it works, but it only has one setting. Out of all the nozzles have or have had, we've never had one so limited., it doesn't even have a shut off valve. To be honest it's not getting used after our first test with it.

This wand works ok but not fantastic.Pros… has a winter shut off so you can water where you want and not all over your deck/patio, has a nice rain shower when it has enough water pressure behind itCons… the wand is not curved enough to easily water hanging baskets, if on well water and not city water pressure it does not flow nicely out of all holes and acts more like a hose with a shut off.

I’ve always wanted to try a wand watering tool like this, but never thought I had enough potted plants. Now I have 17 potted plants on the patio and around the yard. And no matter how diligent I was with the watering can or the hose, I was never consistent enough. Now I am.I like the flow. It’s gentle and adjustable. My begonias and mums and zinnias and pepper plants and especially my eggplant love the even, consistent watering. I’m using a moisture probe to make sure I don’t overwater. I’ve begun feeding them regularly again and they’re rewarding me with gorgeous flowers and green views. That said, it feels less than durable in my hand. I’m not sure if it would last an entire season here — I’m in a place with a long, warm summer in the West. Only time will tell. But if it holds up, I’ll let you know. At this price point, I recommend it for folks like me who are just looking for a change of pace.

This watering wand is the best I've ever had, hands down. I appreciate the shut-off valve and the quality machine work. Everything is finished and fit. To address the reviews that state that the nozzle has no "reach", well it is not supposed to. It is a high volume, low pressure watering wand. I love that I get a high flow and it gently rains down without displacing potting soil or damaging flowers.Get it, you'll love it.

I've been using the Diivoo 16-Inch Watering Wand and it's been a great addition to my garden. The metal construction feels sturdy and durable. While it doesn’t offer multiple spray patterns or extended reach, the 1,000-hole nozzle provides a gentle, even spray ideal for watering plants, hanging baskets, and delicate seedlings. The thumb shut-off control is a handy feature, allowing me to adjust the water flow without returning to the faucet. Overall, it’s a reliable and well-designed wand, though it may have some limitations depending on specific garden needs.

This is way better than my previous leaking watering wand. The old one was plastic and had plastic joints that could bend and a changeable spray pattern. This wand is good because it is simple and well made. The head is metal and does not have a changeable spray pattern. That keeps that part from breaking or leaking. The end connection can be unscrewed so that you can directly attach this to a water hose or pump in a barrel. The end connection also does not leak. Perfect for watering plants or your garden.

If you’re looking for a watering wand that says, “I’ve got this” while you’re still Googling what an eggplant needs, the Diivoo Watering Wand is your new garden sidekick. With a thousand tiny holes (I didn’t count, but I’ll trust them on that), it delivers a gentle cascade of water that won't obliterate your delicate seedlings. No more accidental plant drownings—just the right amount of hydration for your begonias to thrive like they’re in a spa.The thumb control is surprisingly smooth, allowing you to go from a trickle to a decent pour without turning your hose into a fire hose. Plus, it’s lightweight and feels pretty sturdy, thanks to its aluminum build. That said, don’t expect it to survive a WWE smackdown with your garden shed. It’s tough, but not that tough. The only downside? If you’re on well water or have low pressure, this wand might not live up to its full potential. It needs a bit of oomph behind it to work its magic. But with good water pressure, your plants will feel like they’ve just had the best rain shower of their lives. It’s a must-have if your garden needs a gentle hand, and honestly, who doesn’t want a tool that makes you look like you know what you’re doing?

This is a great little tool in the garden. I appreciate the length for those hard to reach jobs between and around other plants in the garden. It doesn’t leak at the hose end or the watering end. My only complaint is I wish the on/off feature was a little more prominent. It is a little hard to get a hold of it. I like the color a lot. It is easy to see if I accidentally set it down out in the garden.
