Hard to see in the photo as to how they attach ti your dock. Not very cushiony. The mat has areas of “foam” for protection. Looking for an entire piece that is cushioned the WHOLE length/width not just small sections. Your only protection is in SMALL sections.

Had to have a dock fender but could not put any nails or screws to the dock. I strung line through the fenders and attached to stern cleat and bow cleat and work great.
