Works just fine on a 2016 wrangler. Slightly different finish than the other buttons but that's likely just sun damage on the older plastic or something.

Took off a star because it’s soooooo small, yet sooooo expensive. Plus, Mopar is making a killing off of this one piece because it’s the first thing you’re gonna lose unless you use the USB in the console. Fit my 2014 Wrangler JKU perfectly. The “tail” goes into the slot under the USB port. Sort of in the middle of the “square” for lack of better terms. Seems counterintuitive. Probably why it falls off. It’s in the way. I thought I took a pic, but didn’t. Sorry!
