Should've purchased one with fuller coverage. My dogs surgery was higher on the hip but it helped the sanitary napkins we were using to catch the drainage fluid. Everything stays in place. We have a 23lb cocker spaniel.

Other sleeves slid off when my dog sat down. This one stays snug with the belly straps. Worth every penny!

My pup couldn’t stop licking her wound. This sleeve stayed put and let her heal without irritation. Highly recommend!

Soft fabric didn’t bother my dog’s sensitive skin. He barely noticed it! Great for post-injury care.

Finally a sleeve that doesn’t block my male dog’s belly. Adjustable straps make bathroom breaks easy.

Calli just had surgery for cleanly torn ACL on her back right knee. Bichon’s Fraise’s actually stand on their back tip toes - like a ballerina. This exposes Dog to ripping ACL due to their insane speeds., turns, spins and walking on their hind legs like a baby human. This particular model was the cheapest and it is working perfectly. It’s a disaster if your dog can get at their stitches. If the do, they tend to pull out the stitches then create infections. Bad!So pick this one. Very important to buy the correct size. Calli is 13 pounds and looks very close to the product picture when wearing the lick guard. Doesn’t come off if you put it on correctly.Vets sells similar but charges $80 bucks. Buy it from Amazon.
