I'm using this transformer to power my Ring doorbell camera, and it works great! No more having to charge the doorbell, and it will still run on the battery during a power outage.

I don’t have a regular doorbell on my house and got tired of charging the battery in my Wyze doorbell cam. This works great!

I purchased this after mostly good reviews but I’m one of those who are not that luck, I just got around to installing it and after 2 weeks it went dead, no voltage. Just out of the return window, piece of junk, buy elsewhere.

I hate thermostats with batteries because the batteries wear out. It is very difficult to find a modern thermostat which does not use batteries, and which require the skills of a jeweler and the tools of a safe cracker. Smart thermostats can use a common wire, boilers (water, steam) often do not have one. These smart thermostats are made for furnaces (forced hot air). But batteries do not provide enough power to run these smart thermostats. If you want a modern thermostat without batteries then you can use this transformer.

Works great the wire is extra long so it was easy to put in a location where it wouldn’t interfere with anything we use everyday. Super fast shipping a great bang for the buck.

Was able to add the C wire needed for a Nest install, but furnace only had two wires for heat, a W and R. This device plugs into your standard 120v outlet, with any of the one leads going into C on the thermostat and other into R along with the red cable from the furnace. Thing is, the wire leads coming from this adapter is super thin. It works well when joined with the R wire, but very thin on its own in C. It didn't detect C was powered until I crammed all 13mm of the wire into the C receptacle on the Nest unit to provide enough bulk to make a secure connection. That's all!
