I am reviewing the Douk Audio K5 headphone amplifier/dac/USB to optical converter. I hooked it up to a Windows computer and a 10 year old set of headphones.I had no problems hooking it up, USB-C to USB-A for streaming and power. There was no need for a separate power cord. There was no background noise when the headphones were hooked up to the 3.5mm output, there was a little background noise when using the 6.35mm plug. I got the best sound when running the tone switch to pure, to me it sounded better than using the tone knobs. I also thought, with my headphones, the sound was clearer with the gain set to low.I enjoyed listening to my .wav and .flac music recording using the K5 more than when I run the files directly into my home audio system.If I was to criticize anything, it would be the knobs on top. There is not a problem with them, I think they are too big, to me. This unit is probably too small to put the knobs on the front, and the K5 is really a nice size. The knobs have to go somewhere.Douk Audio did a good job building the K5, it is a nice looking unit and works great, especially for the money.

I buy and return test they're saying can driven up to 600 ohm I test 300 ohm earphone no power can push driven also play DSD have background noise.
