So I had an older version of this misting nozzle but was a 1/2 gallon version. Loved it but took too long to water with it. I looked up and found this version that is a 1 gallon per minute version. Absolutely love it!. It still gives the gentle mist spray that will not damage delicate plants or disturb the soil but puts out twice the amount of water. I did add a brass shutoff valve between the nozzle and the hose. The 1/2 gallon one I have is over ten years old, so Dramm is top quality and should last you forever.

Never thought i needed something like this, but it makes sense. I water my plants and sometimes using a shower setting on the sprayer makes the water flood the pots and the soil doesn't really get watered as much as actually get thrown out due to the amount of water pressure. this is great in which it is a lot of water but the pressure is low so it doesn't damage anything nor does it wash away the soil . great product. I will be getting the other flow rates as well.

I have an outdoor habitat for my tortoise and I live in the south and it gets very hot here. I wanted something to mist him with hose. This works great and helps keep him cool on hot summer days, very pleased.

this is ideal for watering small seedlings and plants. i have a boogie blue hose filter which limits the flow to 4gpm or so, most nozzle attachments need more flow to be effective or it is just a sad trickle.this here solved the problem very effectively. even watering and soil penetration, sturdily made in the USA, most importantly it limits soil erosion or prevents it altogether

Delivers an impressive amount of water as a mist. Great for watering seedlings and transplants, containers and flats efficiently without damaging the plants. Puts out a serious cloud of mist with enough water to start puddling after a few seconds of you don't keep it moving. This one is mid flow rate, they have models with higher or lower rates as well. Very well made. I deducted a star because it has a drip that cannot be stopped no matter how tight I screw it down. My theory is that the steel screen behind the washer prevents a perfect seal from forming and the water leaks around the screen and out the threads. It is not coming from the mister orifices or threads. If I figure out how to correct it I'll add the star back. Maybe a screen that has the washer molded directly on which Dramm doesnt use because they only use beefy made in USA parts. The drip doesn't interfere with misting performance in any way; it's just a minor annoyance.

The misting head works perfect for my application. I have placed it on the end of a garden hose which I place close to the base of a shrub, turn on the water, set the timer on my phone and get on with doing other things. When the timer goes off, I go back and move the nozzle to the next shrub. The misting spray allows the soil to absorb the water without being washed away and helps reduce water consumption. I have both size of nozzles with this nozzle spraying one gallon per minute and the finer nozzle spraying half a gallon a minute at 55 PSI water pressure.

I dislike the fact that it leaks already, although it’s just a rubber washer to fix it, this happened on day 2 of using it, yours may not! I am all around happy with this product!

Works well. Have it 4 stars because the one I received was marked up , pretty sure it was used. Came in protective plastic package so must have been a return then resold to me.

I've used Fogg-IT Nozzles before. They're pricy, but rugged, and they do the job. They put out a fine mist, don't drip (if you take care of the washer), and haven't clogged on me in multi-year use. They work well on seedlings, orchids, and keeping a greenhouse cool when it's too hot. They're pricey, but good. This is my first of the 1GPM fittings, and it works just as well as all the rest have. I plan to buy more, though I'll have to buy them piecemeal, since they're an investment.
