I feel much safer having these covers over my oven knobs; not from children, but my feline fur babies. Although you need to push in slightly on the burner knobs to turn on, the oven easily turns on just by turning. I put these on all of them for peace of mind.

Ok so I got an electric stove. Dont like electric stoves for a bagillion reasons. I won't boar you with the details I will just say I lost my apartment due to a fire that started with the electric stove. It was human error by tapping the stove knob by accident on my way out of the house. That is how the fire started but with these stove knob covers it is virtually impossible to accudently turn stove coils on. You have to open the covers in order to access the knob. I want to marry the inventor or at least give them a big hug. They have saved me from another accidental house fire. I would highly recommend this item to friends and loved ones. Thank you
Just give me what I paid for.

I said 3 points. Here they are in detail:Too small - the knobs don't fit a few of the ranges we have. Most of our refrigerator knobs dont fit, or very tight to breaking point. This does not seem to be either standard or fits-all size. So unless all your knobs are very small you may be out of luck.Flimsy. - the plastic is very thin and hinges seem almost like they will break very soon.Difficult to open by adults. - You have to press hard to open and from the previous point above, I said they were on the thin side, so if you press too hard you may break it. You have to press quite hard for it to open and take the risk of breaking it each time.Based on all three points above, I would not buy this again nor recommend this. I needed this as an emergency for someone, but am really disappointed. If I helped one other person not make the mistake I made, I did good to humanity.

I was attracted to these because of the narrower opening in the back. I was hoping that would make these more centered over the knobs rather than allowing them to press down on the knobs to allow them to be accidentally turned by kids who decide to try to climb using the knobs before we catch them. Unfortunately the inner space on these is so snug to our knobs that problem isn't mitigated and the whole cover turns with our knobs as we turn the knobs to control the unit which makes using our stove controls fidgety as we have to realign the cover when it rotates around to be blocked from turning by the other knobs.I also had to do quite a bit of working the joints on these in with lots of repeated opening and closing until they opened without clicking at around the 45° pivot point. They're still stiff to open and work with as the joint is entirely hard plastic on hard plastic.Speaking of hard plastic - these feel super brittle. They haven't cracked up on me yet, so that may be a misjudgement, but - from the feel of them - I suspect it's only a matter of time before something cracks apart. To be fair though - brittleness is pretty much the norm for the joint part on all of these products and why I'm buying new ones.

We have a gas stove. Its a big fit over the knobs so they jiggle loosely. I'm sure it would fit on any stove knob. It takes several times opening and closing it until they are worn in and easy to use for me (the adult).

These are exactly what I needed to safety proof my stove from my very adventurous newly climbing toddler. However be warned that these get HOT if your using the stove which I found out the hard way. I had it closed as I cooked and went to open it to turn the burner off and burned my fingers pretty badly. I wasn’t expecting them to get hot, my oven knobs don’t burn so I wasn’t expecting these to but boy did they. I will continue to use them as they keep my child safe however just know they heat up very fast and very hot and you need to take precautions not to burn yourself.

The item says it fits ‘most’ stoves. What are the chances it doesn’t fit my new stove. Returned

Most of the time you have to squeeze really hard and I'm afraid I'm going to break it

These were perfect for my particular Frigidaire! I have included photos in case anyone needs to compare their model to mine. The knobs on mine are very close together and hard to find covers for. They were a tight fit, but not so tight that they would become useless. I am NOT able to turn the burners on while they are locked. I did add some double sided foam tape to mine, as I prefer them secured in place. My son has not figured them out yet, but he also hasn’t tried very much. They seem to hold up well to heat so far. I have boiled a pot under them for fourteen minutes, but haven’t tried longer. These ARE a little hard to open in the beginning... but I’m sortof glad. It seems they become easier to open the more you use them, so I imagine they would have been too easy to open if they had not started out harder. I also prefer them to be harder to open, because that means harder for my son to open too!Thank you so much for these!

Works well to protect my son from tiring knobs on gas stove in our RV. Only issue is that since you have to remove the knobs to put cover on, not every time you open to use the knobs, 1 knob always comes off and you have to put it back on.

These did not fit on y stove. The knobs would not remain on with these attached.
