This took only a few minutes to setup and get our old label printer going again. There were a few internal settings dealing with data transfer rates that we needed to dial in to make everything work smoothly, but it didn't take long, and was easy to navigate.

I'm using this cable to interface with an aftermarket ECU for a car (A'Pex-i PowerFC via the DataLogit interface). This is Old tech from about 1999 or 2000 and it outputs via serial port. So this cable just plugged right into a Windows 11 laptop, registered as a COM port (3 in my case) and enabled my tuning software (CoPilot) to read the data feed. All I had to do was plug it in and it simply worked.

I needed a serial interface to update the software on an older (circa 2000) piece of hardware and this cable worked perfectly. It is well made and was recognized by Windows 10 immediately. It also supports and has drivers available for Windows 11. Some brands don’t support Windows 11. I’m very happy with this cable.

Works awesome with my megasquirt pnp2I have been using this with the supplyed serial cable daisy chained together since the NB miata factory ecu location is under the driver side dash. I have it routed from the driver side dash all the way into the glove box with more then enough cable to connect to my laptop in the driver seat or even outside the car. Great cable no problems with this setup loads tunes and reads off the ecu with no obvious issues running Windows 10
