The boom arm was of good quality but the 1/2" diameter was too thick for my parts that needed a 3/8" diameter boom. The part was returned and I got a full refund.

Bought this to replace a full size cymbal stand and it works great, taking about 5 - 7 pounds out of my hardware bag and gives me a much smaller footprint

AMAZING! I had actually bought this accessory to mount a splash cymbal between my hi-hat and left crash cymbal. However, I wound-up adding this accessory to a DW 9700 straight stand (right side crash) and mounted my 21” ride cymbal. I was able to eliminate one (full) stand on the right and this bad-boy is super heavy-duty!

Great little clamp/arm if you want to add a second cymbal to an existing stand. Quite strong and easy to articulate into whatever position you need. Like all DW hardware, it's really well made and will last a lifetime. I decided a while ago that I would never cheap out on my drum hardware. I only buy DW stuff because it's the best, period.

Top of the line cymbal arm. Comes with two memory locks to ensure that it goes exactly in the same place every time. The cymbal holder is adjustable from loose to tight, and I love the captive wingnut. You can spin this off quickly without fear of losing it on the floor.
