I am just learning to play a minstrel banjo and was looking for traditional songs that would be fairly easy to learn. This resource fits the bill, and I appreciate that there are many files I can listen to before learning the tabs.

Great collection, fun to play. Good tab transcriptions. Audio a big plus. Tim does us a a favor.

These tab transcriptions from Buckley make some lovely old banjo music accessible to those of us who prefer (or require!) tablature. I’m playing a few of these tunes with lyrics that are easy to find in an internet search, tunes such as “Let Me Kiss Him for His Mother” and “Do They Think of Me at Home?”By the way, I bought the kindle version and read it on an iPad. It’s easy to do a screenshot and print it.
