I was surprised how light this was at first, but I realize that's part of what makes it sound so nice and resonate.One of the keys was slightly out of place, but easy to fix. If you have a tuner app on your phone, you can quickly get this in tune. Just plinking around on it is really fun, and sounds good, but when you really start learning songs, or jamming out, it can add such a cool texture to your music.

My son lost first other kalimba that looked exactly like this and was really upset i was happy to find this to replace his other one. Sounds lovely and well made really beautiful exactly as described
