This is great, even after a few years. Love it!

Works as advertised. Was easy to connect to Ecowitt display panel. Seems to be well built.

It works well but the screen is hard to read because it is so small.

Super reliable - has a good ecosystem of other things you can add to the sensors, my parents have this sitting on the dock and monitor lake temps for swimming etc. A little scientific/app is a little hard to figure out and not “good looking”. But the data is solid!

I have been looking really hard to find a weather station that would support water temperature reporting. The EcoWitt line of weather stations is the magic solution. FIrst, I ordered the weather station and was pleased with how easily I got everything online, and feeding my data both to Ecowitt.net and weather underground. Then, I ordered this water temp, but I was afraid I’d have to go through a lot of steps before it was synced with my weather data. Know what those steps turned out to be? “Put an AA battery in the display base.” That’s it. 60 seconds later, the water temperature is displaying alongside my rainfall, wind, UV etc. So easy! Definitely a must-have for anyone with waterfront property or, as others have noted, a pool or hot tub.

This is compromised of 2 components. The sensor with a 6 foot.long cable and the end is a Bluetooth transmitter.inside the house as a Bluetooth, the Wi-Fi converter. This converter also provides temperature and humidity levels. The iPhone application is pretty simple but it does what it needs to do. It shows instantaneous temperature as well as temperature overtime.

I have had this in our pool for 12 months now and it still works perfectly. I have it synced to an Ecowitt weather station with an LCD. While it does not show on the LCD main screen unless you go into settings, I can check the pool temp on my phone using Home Assistant. HA even logs the temp.

I added this to my weather station gateway because I wanted to monitor my pool and hot tub temperatures. I just installed an AA battery, attached the mounting bracket to the deck rail, attached the unit and dropped the sensor down to the bottom. Unlike other devices, it has an LED readout of the temperature so you don't even need to have a gateway device unless, like me, you want to monitor it remotely.

This is excellent for being able to get the temperature of the pool halfway down (or wherever you choose!), instead of the floating ones that measure surface temperature. I always found the surface ones were a little high, but this one is perfect. Connected effortlessly with the Ecowitt gateway.

Und das ist sehr ärgerlich weil man auch die History nicht ändern kann und völlig falsche Daten für die durchschnittlichen Temperaturen im System geliefert werden

After going through 6 or more floating bluetooth hot tub thermometers that constantly needed resetting or replacing, I sought a WiFi solution that would be more permanent. After 4 months this Thermometer paired with the GW1100 Wi-Fi gateway (required and on amazon) have been a great solution.. Setup is a little clunky but if you follow the instructions carefully and have some patience it's set and forget and has a constant signal anywhere you are connected to your wifi network. I screwed the thermostat relay into the side of the Hot Tube housing, but the sensor wire is long enough you could probably connect somewhere else. I have the sensor in the filter compartment so it won't be in the way and the readings are accurate. You can set alerts as well which is useful for the Hot tub overheating or if below freezing...It would be nice if the temp on the relay was easier to read/larger/lit, but you just open the app to quickly get the temp.
