This vacuum sealer is a great idea. I store potato chips in a 2qt jar & they remain crisp & tasty after 4 weeks. My only complaint is the cord. The smaller plug that is inserted into the vacuum sealer is VERY poor quality & pulled apart after several uses.

I got so tired of every getting stale when we didn't use a whole box or bag of something. I felt like I was wasting so much money having to throw so much food out until I bought this. It's so easy to use , quick and hardly takes any space in the cupboard. The only issue I had was the quality of the lids that came with it. It seemed like they didn't want to seal as well when they were used more than once, but it wasn't that big of a deal because it only came with a few anyway. Get some quality lids and you'll be on your way to so much less waste.

we store lots of our own dry goods and spices we gather. and reseal our jars with this thing everytime. there have been a few jars that POP when cold night to a hot day to cold night to warm day again. BUT i think its a lid failure. but since its just my spices I'm not that worried.none of the liquids we have sealed with it have popped.

This product replaced an older type with a different brand. Perfect for storing dry goods such as beans, rice, flour. Sugar, and cornmeal.

The machine is ok and the lids are ok but the opener was missing, (not included in the package) so how can I remove the lids without damaging them? If the lids get damaged every time I open a bottle, then the value of the machine is much less. I'm disppointed
