How to install it?
- Cut an 85mm (3 3/8") hole in the panel and allow a clearance of 70mm (2 3/4”) behind the panel to fit the gauge.
- Put the gauge in the hole and screw down.
How to connect wires?
1 --- Power Positive.
2 --- Power Negative.
3 --- RPM Signal.
6 (Backlight) --- Power Positive.
Please note: Tachometer can be connected to 12VDC and 24VDC power directly.
Why Don't get RPM signal?
Tachometer sometimes cannot get signal by ignition system. So, I suggest Tacho sensor signal. It is more stable.
I suggest you can buy a Tacho sensor from Eling Parts. ASIN NO. is B07RR8NQ45, B07RN3HJ72.
How to be setting Tach RPM Ratio?
1. Turn on the power supply first.
2. Press and hold the mode button for 3 seconds to enter the setting speed ratio mode. then adjust speed ratio from 1-300 according to your request.
3. After setting, Data is automatically saved.
4. Please note: If your sensor is installed on the flying wheel panel, the RPM ratio is equal to the number of gears of the engine; If the speed signal takes from W-Terminal, the RPM ratio is equal to the half of the number of poles.
5. Normally, When the engine at idle state, tachometer shows 600-800rpm that means speed ratio is correct. If not, you can turn down or turn up speed ratio to check RPM difference.

I purchased the fuel gauge and the sending unit both from Ellen neither one work I have done Diagnostics and testing on them I'm not a dummy when it comes to this Amazon refunded my money for the sending unit within a couple days for the last 2 weeks although Elling says it will send a return label within five business days constantly are sending me email saying I need to take it to the cheapest UPS place and pay to return it and we have been going through this every single day for practically two weeks now my opinion is I would not purchase anything from Ellen it's junk and then you got to pay to return the junk that you bought if you choose to ignore this and buy from them anyhow you will be sorry I promise

Looked good but does not work, needle would move into different fixed positions but would not move with the RPM of the engine no matter what setting I used. Bought a another more expensive/ better quality tach and it worked perfect. Get what you pay for.

Installed as per instructions and it does not work. The tach picks up signal but bounces all over. Will be travailing at 30 mph and the tach says the rpm is 500, idling and it says 5000 rpm. Using the same pick ups as the old tach which worked great but didn't have the hour meter which I want for maintenance. Absolute junk don't make the same mistake I did. The matching speedo I bought is the same garbage.
