Nice toaster. Bought this because I hated when I had longer slices of bread that I had to toast on it's side because it wouldn't fit. This is perfect. You can toast more slices at 1 time. Saving time as well. Has a warming rack that you can put up or down. Defrost mode, and timer that let's you know how long till done.

Was listed as the #1 toasterOnly partially toasts on the one side then you have to flip it to fully toast that side... contacted elite gourmet ... after 2 weeks they finally emailed me saying that they don't ship to Canada. They then informed me that I'd have to go through Amazon... Amazon said outside the 30 day warranty they agreed to pay me 47$ after charging me a 10$ restocking fee!? What's that for?...I decided to keep the toaster and just remember to flip the bread halfway through toastingOnly 30 day warranty!?Initially I paid $52.95 now it's listedFor $111 before taxesMake sure you test all functions of the toaster with in a couple of weeks. My mistake was only using the bagel side first and then trying to use it for toast and realizing it always works like a bagel toaster.

Great product, shape and size. The price was really good at just over $50!! Really like the warming rack where I can heat up my sweet buns that I don't want to stick inside because they might get stuck and drip sugar/jam, etc. into the toaster wires. But on the rack they warm up very well!

Love this toaster. My wife can do her Rye bread without cutting the slice in half first and she is able to toast two slices at a time. I like to use the bagel setting and toast one or two bagels. It really will toast just the sliced side of the bagel and I love that!

I highly recommend this toaster, it will hold the longest slices, (which is why I bought it, homestyle slices) side by side or it will do four regular slices or four regular size slices that are thick bread, and it has a lot of adjustability the quality is very nice, very well made, it has a digital readout and there's an instruction guide for how much time and how dark to make the toast, worked perfectly the very first time. You can adjust the temperature on the fly once you set the bread in the toaster and you can cancel the toast at any time with the push of a button. Takes up a lot of counter space though just be aware.

Equipment was well built and attractive. However, as others have noted, it mostly toasts on one side of each slot. Would be great if I wanted to toast a bagel, but I don't!I usually take the 1/2 toasted piece out, turn it around, and re-toast for only a few seconds.Would look a little further for a toaster that works on BOTH sides.

Received my first toaster damaged but I returned right away to Staples and received my replacement within 3 days. It was worth the wait! Great looking toaster and the timer really helps to ease the wait.

Randy K said it best....I read reviews....but I guess I read more of the good reviews and not enough of the not so good ones...as that is what we are experiencing...We kept trying different times/options to no avail...back to Amazon it goes and on to try to find a new toaster. Not sure how there are so many good reviews...unless it is only when you are using a larger piece of bread...but that is the main reason I bought this toaster! Sourdough bread..."With all the great reviews, I really wanted to like this product. It fit where we wanted to store it and it looks nice. Unfortunately, that is all I can say that is good about it.In testing it for the first time, I noticed that the toasting elements were not getting uniformly hot (see photos). You can see in the photos that many of the wire segments are not red, which means they are not getting hot enough to toast those areas of the bread.We thought we would try this out for a few days and could not find a setting that would toast the bread but without scorching it in spots. Sadly, we could not find such a setting. We have used it every day since we received it. While it is a nice looking product, it has failed in its primary job which is "toaster".I cannot tell whether this is a result of poor design, poor quality control or both. Either way we will keep looking for a different solution. I am returning this one for a refund."

Replaced a more expensive toaster that took forever to toast. This one toasts more quickly as most of the heated wires do heat up, while in the previous one only about half of them seemed to heat up, judging by the red colour when hot. This one lacks the ability to raise the bread while toasting to check colour, and doesn't have extra deep slots, but does have a digital countdown to show how long to go before toast will pop up, which is nice. Only weakness is that it is hard to see what number of darkness the setting it is on. We put a small white mark on the dial to make the setting easier to see.

The pop up warming rack is an unusual feature that can come in handy. The bagel and defrost options are essential and seem to work fine. I was disappointed that the two sides of bread don't toast evenly, with the side closest to the center of the unit getting a darker toast than the side facing the outside of the unit. Also, the black browning control knob has a black raised pointer which is difficult to see from most angles - I painted the pointer white so that I could see it.
