Kitchen Aid quality, design and performance!I love everything about it! It toasts bagels and breads of different thicknesses to perfection! Easy to clean. Pricier but worth the money. I love the green color, which looks classy on my kitchen counter! 5 stars from me!

My old KitchenAid toaster finally bit the dust so I went with this model. Color is beautiful and is solid. I wish they would just use titles instead of "pictures" to describe different options. I find that you have to set it almost to the top to get a darker toasting. Just a matter of getting use to the new toaster. Is it worth the $$$, jury is still out on that.Update: Feb 13 - After a little more use I still think not as good as old KitchenAid. Even on "darkest" setting it's not that toasted.March 12 - Contacted KitchenAid customer service and exchanged toasters. New one works great - toasts correctly -

User friendly and very efficient. This toaster is exactly as advertised. Not only does it look great, the functionality is spot on. When the toast is done it pops up high enough to grab and not burn your fingers. We love it!!!

Easy to use. Wife loves the red color. It blends in perfect with our other kitchen aid red appliances. We don’t always. Red a four slice toaster but when we do it’s there. Very happy .

If you are looking for a toaster that can toast in a reasonable time - keep looking. The acid test for me was english muffins. An entire cycle at the darkest setting barely toasted. It takes one and a half cycles for the medium darkness setting. Each cycle is around 3+ minutes. It does toast fairly evenly though. It does toast regular bread well - if you don’t mind waiting. I found nothing special about this toaster, except the inflated price.

With 7 kids this toaster is able to make toast for each person specific needs and wants. Beautiful to see on the counter no hiding this one after your done.
