Fix Your Powerstroke Vehicle and Restore Driveability

The engine oil cooler is a heat-exchanger which is commonly a radiator type of cooler which cools engine oil from the engine. It removes excess heat from the oil using the engine coolant that flows around as the engine oil passes through the cooler.

When the engine cooler fails or leaks your coolant may mix with the oil and experience overheating and loss of pressure and power in your engine. By replacing the engine oil cooler with this kit you can eliminate these issues.

I’m a journeyman diesel technician . The Cooler and gaskets fit well. Just had to make sure the gasket seems were cleaned very well. Put 5000 miles on vehicle so far no issues. No leaks no problems. My personal opinion is a nice kit for the money. Would use it again.

The cooler base gasket started leaking after a month of daily driving, then the cooler went out pumping oil into my coolant after only 1,500 miles. Now I have to replace it again . I want a refund or something done about this. I worked so hard on this for it just to mess up a month later. Truck is over heating and now I am out of a truck for working use. I am very disappointed if you want something that last long I don’t recommend this cooler at all.

Didn't send all the parts in the "kit" missing gaskets, and the part was not even finished from the factory. Still had jagged edges and the metallic coating was incomplete.

This product was the cheapest oil cooler I could find more my 6.0. After doing a bunch of research the most common failure of the cheap oil coolers was the gaskets, and seals. This kit was complete with everything needed todo the job. Also sealed the oil cooler up very well, no leaks around the oil cooler as of right now. Another great thing about this item is that they offer a "LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY" which means as long as you didnt break it the items should be warranty which is great because the 6.0l oil cooler tends to clog after a while and doesnt cool the oil properly

Installed a few months ago works great update Nov 2021 still running strong working as expectedupdate 2 1/2 yrs later working perfectly! Save your money guys ( and gals) (and everyone in between :-) ) this was way less expensive than buying it from the local parts store. I like to support local but triple the price. Greedy does get my loyalty.

UPDATE: 1 year in oil cooler and gaskets still function well. Put about 4500 miles on truck. Temps delta still less than 5 degrees. Would purchase again. So far so good. Good fit on all gaskets. Felt like was missing one O ring but i couldve misplaced it. No leaks as of yet ab 1000 miles in it so far. Delta on coolant and oil temps range from 3-5 degrees

I just replaced my oil cooler in my 06 f350 6.0 truck only has 59,000 miles did this while I was deleting the egr and doing the stc updated fitting on the hpop. I have to say I'm very happy with its performance so far my coolant and oil temps stay within 6 degrees of each other at 65mph for about 15 miles on the highway I've put about 1,200 miles on it so far and will write another review after 6,000 miles on the oil cooler. I recommend a coolant filter after you replace your oil cooler if you dont already to help keep the cooler free of debris that could be in your coolant system that can plug the oil cooler.

While it’s stil a touch early to be super in depth I have to say that so far I am more than pleased with the performance of this oil cooler. I have an ‘04 6.0 with approx. 245,000 miles on it and I had noticed my temps had been a little higher than usual on my BullyDog programmer for a coylle of weeks. Then I towed a trailer two weekends in a row and noticed a slight amount of coolant loss with nowhere for it to be but the cooler. I have heard some oil cooler horror stories so I decided sooner was better than later.I have approximately 1500 miles on this new cooler and so far so good. My oil temps have gotten above 200° F just one time and that was doing 75 mph up a steep hill on a sunny day. I was skeptical of buying this cooler because I thought for the proce it was too good to be true, however I am pleased so far.
