Totally Useless. I was hoping it would help by holding the Cams in place during the Timing belt change on a Suzuki Reno. However, it fails to hold cams in place and after removing the Timing Belt, both cams moved about a tooth off Time. Tool does not hold the cams tightly and doesn't prevent them from moving off their timing marks.

I decided to buy this when changing timing belt on 2005 Hyundai xg350. I bought two sets both made of plastic. When used they were supposed to keep my timing cams aligned, but would never thighten enough to keep them from moving off gears. Would never buy again and would prefer a metal made device for the next project. This product is not for me. This product needs directions or a short video on using it also.

Turns out my friend also bought one. However, it didn’t work for the Jeep 2.4L. Or at least the two of us couldn’t figure out how to make it work as the gears were to close together and the only way we could make it with it was in the way of the timing belt.

The tool would not hold the gears and it was such a pain trying to use it. Got the job done faster and less stress without it. Not worth it even if it was free

I wanted tools for a 2010 Kia Soul...Amazon said this was the tool but it is of no use for that application. It's plastic locks like it could possibly be ok for other cars. I'm going to keep it, at the price it makes sense. I'm going to throw it into my tool box and save it for future work
