So I purchased this a few months ago, not with the intent of using it daily, so I use it maybe 5-6 times per month. For the money, this is well worth it, but I would go with something more robust if you intend to use it daily or if using the steamer is a big deal for you. Overall, pretty happy with my purchase and does the job.

I got this espresso machine for my sister and we both love it! if you are looking For the short and sweet, here it is: This is a great value: A high quality, everyday, at home espresso machine for a decent price.Here are some key points that we love about it if you want the details:When I bought it, I was worried it was going to be massive and take up and lot of counter space. Well it isn’t and it doesn’t. It’s a good size(I took a picture with my hand on it to give you a good visual. And I am an average size female) it is very sleek and will look very nice with whatever your kitchen/office/classroom decor or theme is. My sister is taking it to her classroom.Second of all, we were confused when we first tried to use it because we forgot to remove a little red piece on the bottom of the water tank. We called the customer service number from the QR code link and they returned our call within 5 minutes. We were not expecting that at all. They quickly resolved our problem and were extremely nice, patient and helpful. So if you have any questions definitely utilize their help line.It came with lots of functional extra items. The two “high quality porcelain cups” were surprisingly just that. Very cute and classy. I was planning to buy a separate set of espresso cups but if two is enough for you then you don’t even need to buy cups separately. Another cool thing about the cups, is that there is a heating tray on top of the machine that you can use to warm up your cups before you dispense, for a piping hot cup of espresso.It comes with a grinder that works perfectly so you can just buy whole beans and don’t have to worry about grinding them somewhere. The machine also comes with a scoop for the ground espresso. The rest of the functions on this machine are problem free so far. The drip tray is also easy and quick to clean.So if you have stuck with me so far, I can tell you this is a great product. Like anything, you get what you pay for, so while it is a little spendy, I feel like it’s an investment and you will get your money back if you(or friends/family) enjoy espresso, lattes or cappuccinos.

My Brevet died after 15 years. I researched all the machines and ordered the Espresso works. It draws a perfect espresso every time. As good if not better than any espresso I’ve had out in Italy and back home. It is ready to make coffee almost instantly. The milk steamer also is ready to use in mere seconds. My old Brevette took what seemed like forever to heat up and steaming milk was time consuming and messy. Not so with the Espresso works. Easy clean up and easy to use. And did I say a perfect draw every time? Amazing for the price. Would I love to have a $5000 machine. Of course but why? I’ve used it every day for a few months and it as good as the day it arrived. Looks great on the counter and takes up little space. Comes with a nice grinder, stainless steel frothing cup, two saucer less espresso cups and a plastic tamping tool with a scoop on the other end. The counter intuitive technique with this machine is very light tamping of the coffee. Water pressure in the machine does the work and produces perfect crema. This is so good that my brother in law bought one too and now never uses his Keurig. He draws a perfect espresso or cappuccino every time too. There is a little dimple in the metal grind holder that locks it in the handle that is easy to miss if you don’t know it is there. Sometimes it can separate and remain on the machine. Not a big deal if it does. After a few draws you will get the feel for it and be brewing away. If you love espresso and cappuccino get this machine. Hot, cold, big or small. Make it all and better at home than you get out.
