The camera itself is very durable. It has survived weeks of 40°C in the sun and harsh winter storms with -40°C. I’ve never had any issues with connectivity, even though my router is through two brick walls. I like the look of it, it’s not very noticeable when you’re blankly looking, but if you’re looking for a camera, it’s pretty obvious. The only bad things are mounting and the software. You have to mount it using its magnetic base plate and after a season or two I end up having to readjust the camera. The software also isn’t great. Even with zones setup, It has false detections or lack there of detections about 10% of the time. The app has been reliable in recording long enough to catch whatever is happening however, the screenshots of events and time it takes to load said events isn’t great. So traversing footage isn’t super easy. I have it set up as a safety measure so I’m not too worried, but I would have continuous recording on if I was.Overall, I’m happy with the product and happy with Eufy as I didn’t need to buy anything extra or pay a subscription.

Easy to install and works great with app, identifies, humans and pets and motion. My only complaint would be it’s a little laggy - but that could be my internet. Also price was great during Prime days but a little pricey afterwards compared to Wyze, a canera i also use.

Las cámaras aparentemente están bien (aún no las instalo) pero las cajas venían golpeadas y una de ellas venía abierta.

I wanted a security camera where I could buy it, easily install it and then have it continuously record when there is activity and store it on the micro SD card without having to worry about paying monthly fees for cloud service. You can buy different size cards to put into it if you want the loop last more days. I did also experiment putting this inside a house window to look out but you would get too much reflection from the glass for it to work. The app is also really user friendly and the picture quality is really good. You can leave the notifications on so that every time there is activity you will get notified, or it will show you all the activity in the app. Bottom line, a reliable company, a great value for what your buying and easy to set up and get up and running in no time. Don’t bother buying others where you will just start having to pay additional monthly fees for monitoring. I would highly recommend to others.

Pro's:- Very nice clear picture during the day. Night is pretty decent also.- Has about 1 feet of wire coming out of the device which you attach your preferred length of USB power cable to.- Nice and small - super easy installation with the mounting plate and magnetic base. Smart design- App and design is decent, and you can scrub and view the timeline to see motion events.- Sound seems good via included mic.- Inconspicuous when mounted. It's about 1.5 times the size of a golf ball.- **Post-Winter update** - Did not skip a beat during the 2024/2025 winter. Handles the elements like a champ. During that time, I run the LED light all night as a deterrent. That's also still working. Added a star. Still lacking is the robustness with the motion control and zones.Cons:- The setup is quirky, but sooner or later you get through it.- Support's replies make you wonder if they understand your issue correctly. Expect responses at the wee hours of the morning if you are in EST, and after 24-48 hours.- The detection zone function is not robust. Don't expect much here. It feels more like a work in progress. Motion that is clearly outside the detection zone is triggering alerts. Firmware updates might improve this so I am waiting. I've learned to live with it for now. It also means I can't use the motion light like I'd want, because it would constantly go on and off, and there is some mechanical aspect to this because you can hear it click on. Not sure how long that will last before it breaks.- The camera accepts a maximum 128GB card, and not 256GB.Tip for 100% tool-less installation:Ditch the 3M VHB that is attached to the mounting plate. I've seen masking tape with more tack and hold. Peel this crap off the metal mount, and go get yourself some Gorilla Glue extra strength double sided tape and cut it to fit the mount. You'll be able to mount it anywhere, like under a soffit. No screws needed. It won't come off until you pry it off.

I have been using numerous types of home surveillance cameras for 9 years now, and this camera is by far the best camera I have ever owned. Initially, opening the box immediately displayed a very well put together product. It's small, and feels solid. Installation was a breeze. With one screw to mount the small, round metal plate and that's it. Then the magnetic base mounts to the small, round, metal plate and the camera magnetically mounts to the base. It was unbelievably simple.I downloaded the app and got this camera set up within minutes with no issues. It provides a very clear picture, in fact, it's the best/clearest picture I've ever seen on a surveillance camera that I have owned. The app is very user-friendly and the camera is completely customizable. I have been playing with this camera for a few days now and I can find no faults. The price was excellent and I'm going to be slowly changing out my entire, wired, 1080p security system for these cameras as time and money permits. The best part I love about this camera is how easy it was to customize what areas I wanted triggered by motion. On top of the ease of setting it up, it is extremely accurate. The app asks you if you want person, pet, or all motion. I chose person and I have not had a false trigger yet. I get an immediate notification to my phone and when you click on the notification, it plays a short video clip of what triggered the motion.I also really love the fact that what's on my camera is my business. No monthly fees, no cloud storage, all video is saved to the internal 32 GB microSD.I honestly can't say enough good things about this camera. You will not be disappointed with this purchase.

I originally passed over these little guys from Eufy. I purchased the solo battery version instead. I quickly learned that even though they have a solar panel, unless you live in a desert with no clouds and sun all year round, the battery life could be reduced to weeks. Since most of the locations I had the battery cameras I could easily run a USB power cable, I decided to give these a try. The picture quality is very good, the motions detection is pretty spot on, and it is nice to have a camera that has some per buffer and will record the entire event if it needs, not cutting is short because it is concerned with battery life. One thing I wished the battery version had was, I can set it to detect all the motions options but only get alerted for the ones that detected a human, pet or package, but have peace of mind that if it was a person dressed in a mask and all covered up, it would still record the event. Well, this is your camera! I can set this to record everything, or even 24/7 if I wish, and only be alert for events the AI thinks was a human, pet, or sound like a baby crying. I love this! Also, storage is no issue, since you can upgrade the memory stick if you wish. I do understand the concern if someone takes the camera, but you do have the option to save to your own camera server, or you can pay for the Eufy cloud to back them up if you wish. Also, do not forget you can download you your phone. So, the AI works great, you can train it too by marking images as false detection! I would say my only grip is, and it seems to be an issue for the past several months is accessing the cameras and live feed. I use Tp-Link Deco mesh and for some odd reason the cameras are hard to access, saying unable to place, and sometimes editing settings, they fail to save. I have been trying to work with support to see if they can help out. They have been helpful and are very responsive, but the connectivity issue with at least Deco Mesh X20 and M5 is problematic for now. Hopefully all these bugs can be worked out. Beside this, I do recommend these little might little cameras.
