Good quality and the color is awesome. I use these for my drag racing mounts and these work wonders. Perfect sizes

I got these to mount my gopro on a handcycle hoping for a better angle. I was at first worried about stability as it seemed like my camera made it shake but going at high rates of speed over rough terrain the video was perfect.I had an issue with 1 piece and contacted the seller who replaced it no questions asked. That made me very happy, great customer support is rare these days.

Preposterously flimsy. This is an extremely light duty product. Brittle plastic end broke while I was checking the initial installation on a bicycle and I watched my $500 GoPro bounce across the concrete. Actually riding with it would not have been successful. Nothing wrong with plastic, the GoPro itself is plastic too, just not brittle garbage like this is construed with. It might work as a selfie stick, if there is no wind, you hold it very gently, don't move it, and you don't mind the near certain outcome of breaking or loosing your camera. Do not under any circumstances mount anything of value on it, say a GoPro for example. I went back to my RAM Mount setup.

CONS:- The attachment point on one of the rods wasn't aligned with the the point on the other side of the rod. which as I am sure you can imagine, is not satisfactory when mounting to something you want facing forward...- Also, one of the attachment points completely cracked off while in use, (mountain biking) causing me to drop my brand new GoPro and scuff the screen.- Once connected, the camera can still want to move or pivot down, no matter how tight I crank it down.PROS:- They work well at extending your action cam from the mount point...- the three sizes are convenient for different applications and camera angles.IMPRESSIONS:I wouldn't recommend these for cycling or mountain biking, or anything that includes any type jarring, jerks and motions. The plastic connection points aren't made of a quality material and don't appear to be seated well within the tubing. I would say these are far better suited for stationary, slow and controlled movements of your camera.TAKE AWAY:I don't plan to return these as I will still use them (the remaining ones anyway) for less aggressive applications. That's the news and now you know it!

Cheap, weak, poor build quality. These are fine for very light, stationary use. I bought these to attach to my car suction cup for external shots. I don't trust them, they are so cheaply made. I'm now buying a solid aluminum peice without any fittings for the same price.

Very light weight, aluminum tubes with pressed plastic firing at end seems very cheaply made

I just received today and to be honest was a bit skeptical based on some of the other less than 4/5 star reviews. I have to suspect that those reviews were based on a buyer or buyers thinking that they purchased solid carbon fiber rods for $200 rather than these rather well constructed aluminum tube based mounts. That said, for the price point and overall build quality I am 5 star happy. The plastic parts seem to be just as good of plastic used in any other GoPro mount that I have ever purchased and the tubes are pressed on in enough places that I am not really worried about long term use or camera loss. Do I understand that I purchased something for less than the price of a good lunch that should be inspected often and possibly even replaced of sign of loose fitting or wear show? Of course. Just as with any mount, I will also use a tether for more expensive gear. Also, I really find some extra value in the nice little bag, fittings and tightening tool. In the end money well spent.

Some have reported that these slip when tightened. I have not found this to be the case in my use of them so far. As long as you use the included thumbscrew wrench, you are able to get a tight fit between joints. These are made for primarily stationary setups. Some have reported that they bend/break easily. I believe they are either putting too much stress on them at oblique angles (such as trying to re-adjust the joints without loosening the thumbscrews first) or perhaps they are putting too much weight on them (they're not designed to hold anything heavier than the couple ounces of a typical Sport Cam), or they're causing too much leverage on them - they are not designed to hold the camera way out on the front of a white-water kayak in level 5 rapids! There are solid aluminum brackets for those high-torque applications. They were exactly what I was looking for, in order to get my GoPro out at just the right position for some particular shots.
