I have it on windows 11 and i had no problems with plug and play. i have used it to play bluray and normal dvd all works great and it works for make mkv.

This plug and play component works right out of the box -- for playback of Blu-ray discs. For ripping discs to digital files, software sold separately is required. I bought MakeMKV software for ripping discs and splurged on Power DVD software to get a superior image resolution for playback because it looks better than what the free VLC Media Player download can deliver. The drive comes with all necessary cables and a nice padded carrying case.

I should be able to plug in this device and have it work. The description says it works with Windows 11. Device Manager shows errors with the drivers. The optical drive portion does not show up in File Explorer. When I plug in a USB stick it does not appear in File Explorer either. If I plug in an SD card then it DOES show up. I am not going to waste time trying to make this work. If the company does not make a product such as this that can plug in and be recognized then I am not keeping it. I cannot find the manufacturer's contact information. A more minor issue is that the blue lights on top ALWAYS blink. That is annoying. I will be sending it back.
