I have an old starcaster, not very common, the back plate became cracked on. This replacement fit perfectly, and looks good!

I really liked the Tremolo cover to begin with. The black stripe puzzled me because the single ply 50's style pickup cover that is on my strat does not have this black stripe. I will look closer before I purchase another one. This one is being returned.

It's a nice piece. The holes do not line up on my 93 Korean Squire Strat (CN211203) however if you start with the top left hole and drill new ones for the other 5 it looks fine. It's hard to find an original one for the older Squire so this is a good choice.

This isn't an exact fit for the 1987 Standard Strat' MIJ with System 1 trem E-series like I have.The corners match up, but the 2 offset screws in the middle are oppositely offset on my guitar. Center hole to center hole looks 3" and 5".You could re-drill new holes or just do what I did and just attach the corners.The original one was single ply and the corners broke. This one holds up a lot better.

Genuine fender tiles are always the perfect choice. In the future I can exchange this part and use other genuine fender part, the holes for the screws are on the same spot. I do not need to drill new holes.
