I got these thinking they were novelty and not really functional. Boy was I wrong! They were inexpensive. Rather easy to use in various needles. I store them in a small container with my sewing supplies. The size is great. Not overly big. Easy to grip onto. Actually really great quality too!

I have AMD and need magnification to read small print. These didn't help me much but... the fault is not the product. If carefully used while wearing magnifying hobby glasses I could get them to work but... The best alternative is self threading needles...There are several brands.

I had been using the small metal needle threaders but can't locate them anymore. Those with just the little hook are not easy to use. My senior eyes have trouble finding the eye of the needles to feed them into. These little threaders have made it easier. Not perfect but at least they do help to thread the needle without have to get out the magnifying glass and try to juggle that and the needle and thread just to thread a needle. Yes, they are small, but they work. My sewing machine auto threader doesn't work and I don't want to pay $$$ to get it fixed, so I'm back to the cave man days :) These work great.

No instructions were provided but there were similarities to some vintage ones I have—that work better. You need good eyesight to use this and good light helps. The good thing about it is that the little green ones are small enough to throw a few in a sewing kit and they seem sturdier to the silly thin metal ones that have very thin wires that pull loose from the metal if you breathe too hard. That is the only reason this gets more than 1 star.

These are great to have on hand when threading a need is difficult or inconvenient, like when the thread end keeps unraveling. This takes that problem out of the equation. They do feel cheap but there are so many included that I'll probably end up losing more of them than I break.
